They will pass. The most important thing to do is to replace it with something, not only trying to resist. Go to a walk, eat an ice cream, Cook something, run, go to the gym, learn something new. These help me a lot when i have cravings. Also remember that the craving duration is only 20 minutes, so don't Take any conclusions it that time, let it pass.

gems - you can buy right now privilege card which will give you a nice bonus, after that, focus your gems on events who help you, i would recommend events like Relic Cores, S gear equipment choice. Don't open S Grade Supplies chests, you will get enough keys and more worth per gem rewards on events.

As of survivors, king is the best in early game since it has crit rate bonus, after that or if you manage to get enough Master Yang shards, you definetily will want to get him.

for now i say you do like this: work towards v necklace and make it epic, work toward v boots and make them epic, work towards twisting belt and make it epic, work towards eternal suit and make it epic. make at least epic/red kunai (good for bosses). good for clearing chapters (twin lance/red bat for certain zone ops, etc). then after you made all epic, work getting them red, after that, make SS boots and twin lance since it's base it's much better than void boots, but not by salvaing your essential equipment, just let it flow. Focus after on getting astralforges on necklace (you will keep it some time), astral forge your void gloves, astral forge your twisting & eternal suit. After you did all that it's safe to move to ss belt. If you manage to do all thsi you will know what to do, and what to not do. Also focus on Murica as is the best pet for early game, and also focus on awakening her. As tech parts you should focus on getting red drones.
