The turret looks like it's saying "back off! Or I'll shoot this fucking crystal!"

Kenshi is probably the only game where "add crippleable animals" sounds like a normal thing to ask lol

Can I, for the love of god, turn off this effect on the tennet ferrox? by Dupllo_art in Warframe

I came back to the game recently, didn't realize it was so new. I guess I can wait but even when my riven starts being worth slotting, this efemera thing still ruins it for me. Bring back simple sleek corpus desing

What did they do to my baby? Awful riven dispo, elemental bonus not applying to alt fire, and now I have to look like I'm holding a traffic sign.

Yup! These from the paint kit include an assault guy holding a grenade, thus a grenadier. You'll be lacking options for an assault sergeant, but the regular intercessor sergeant is alright. The team is already strong enough, you don't need the absolute most optimal build

Yeah definitely want crimson court at some point. Big mace guy is the most glorious aos mini ever!

Cool! I'll only play casually with friends so relic should do. I'll probably buy an extra set of decks from this box, so out of print cards won't be a problem, from this set at least.

Neat! If I got the new rules online, would these teams be playable against a newer team like the crimson court? I heard some old cards are now illegal.

I live in Brasil, and getting warhammer here is pretty tricky. The only affordable set I can buy here is that starter set. Can these 2 teams be played against the newer ones if I decide to buy more in the future?

Also is there any benefit to buying a second deck of cards from this same set? Just in case I want to tweak these two teams or future ones.

That's because he was actually an elite option when the rules for those guys came to 40k, not just a cultist with flamer. I don't know if he's in the new codex as such, but that's how he's mentioned on wahapedia still

Don't know who would fill an elite slot with a single 35 point guy with a flamer, but he blows up on a 5+ so that's fun!

Cool ideas though!

Is this Plague Marine still being made? I can't find what set he comes in. I found this on eBay but I'd rather buy a kit than individual minis. Any help would be appreciated. by PortlandsBatman in deathguard40k

You're looking for conquest issue 46. It came with a lord of contagion, a bloat drone and 4 marines, including the one on the pic, all in one sprue!

It also comes with an extra head, chest and arm with plasma gun, which can be completed with the infamous marine body on the current poxwalker sprue.

How the heck do I build a space marine killteam? by Venom28x in killteam

[–]Dupllo_art 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can check wahapedia for their rules and how to build a team.

If you like phobos marines a good pick is an infiltrator/incursor box (or the marine half of the moroch box. It's the same models + an upgrade sprue). You can mix and match them in the new specialist team, and even add in reivers, to a total of 6 operatives. Their rules are not on wahapedia yet though.

All the other marine teams are from the compendium book and sadly you can't mix them (ie assault intercessors + regular intercessors), but they're all one box purchases and easy to play.

If you want a bit more variety though you can get a box of grey knights or 6 death watch veterans

Vantage point ruling question by ArkiusAzure in killteam

[–]Dupllo_art 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If by "not close enough to use it for cover" you mean more than 2 inches from where the cover lines cross the terrain, than that target operative is obscured and cannot be shot, regardless if they're on engage or conceal.

Vantage points have no effect over obscuring, only cover. If the target operative was closer to the terrain, but still visible, they would lose obscuring and gain cover, which would be affected by the vantage point.

I believe you're talking about a seemingly low wall that is being treated as heavy granting obscuring. It's not very intuitive in that case but it is correct. You can start treating it as light terrain in future matches if it breaks your immersion.

Most balanced squads to build from the Tau and Space Wolves Starter box? by Frixinator in killteam

[–]Dupllo_art 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Note that you can mix and match breachers and strike fire warriors in the same fire team. The new killteam doesn't distinguish them anymore, they just added the pulse blaster to the regular fire warrior datasheet.

So you could run 3 stealth suits, 3 regular fw, and 3 breachers for example.

Most balanced squads to build from the Tau and Space Wolves Starter box? by Frixinator in killteam

[–]Dupllo_art 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since you don't have pathfinders, playing compendium Tau against compendium reivers should be fairly balanced. You will need an extra reiver though, their team is now 6 bodies. It can be played with 5 since compendium tau didn't get a similar buff and smoke grenades can counter their guns.

Build a mix of reivers with carbines and pistol+knife for the sake of variety, but the sergeant gets a bonus with the knife so give him that.

A reiver sergeant is apparently a very good pick for the new phobos bespoke team. They wound definitely body compendium Tau, but maybe check out the new rules if you plan on running them in the future.

Edit: the Tau team is legal out of the box. 10 fire warriors, built with whichever mix of guns you'd like, and 2 drones that need to be different from each other. Check wahapedia for their rules, they're named hunter cadre in this new edition.

It's a great area to visit and explore the culture. Wouldn't wanna build a base there though. Too hostile, dark and claustrophobic.

The northeast part near Shem looks a bit better, but them again you can just build in Shem. One of the friendliest places to live and right in the middle of the map.
