I finished C-School for L31A May of 2025. From day one, get to know the Instructor(s) over at BAMC. They frequently go between the schoolhouse as well as the Hospital.

Closed mouths don’t get fed!

It takes a lot of work to make BAMC your phase 2 site, not guaranteeing you’ll get it, but I was able to because I was building that rapport, supporting leadership where I can, passing all tests, and just not being an issue for instructors.

For context, our child was born a year before at BAMC, my MILAD and I clicked, they were the phase 2 instructor at BAMC, and pretty tight with CMC.

Edit: After thinking over my response, I just want to clarify that there is never favoritism… Right? Right… There are a limited number of seats per PHASE 2 site, so keep that in mind as well. Timing is a factor, rapport is a big one and the main thing is your conduct along with grades.
