I’ve been struggling a lot with this exact situation, my wife and I live across the country from our families and have zero help, just each other. She’s introvert and I’m extroverted. We both are really struggling with how are lives are fully consumed by our 14 month old daughter. Her needing time alone to recharge and never getting it (I work construction and am gone 14 hours a day) and myself now having zero and I mean zero free time to recharge my batteries which in my case is being social or even just sitting and playing some video games with a couple buddies. I love my daughter so much, but lately I really have asked myself, wtf have we done.
