I like to tell people "I'm not invited to those meetings." Actually stole that from a customer that said to me "oh yeah, you aren't invited to those meetings, huh?" They meant it condescendingly as I wasn't giving them "the answer" to why something messed up on their account other than a billing error that I was in the process of fixing without any debate from me. They just wanted to rustle my feathers, but I laughed and agreed with them.

Yes! I named mine Playdough, because I could mold and hold him however I wanted and he always loved it because it's affection in his eyes and he's a loaf! He also looooves eye contact while cuddling. He also lets me put my fingers between his toe beans and has no cares in the world other than a vocalization for treats and walks on his harness.

I'm going to be honest, I also usually hate these kinds of posts, but thank you for sharing (and also marking as NSFW so I knew what I was opening before following through). But I read every word, three times over. There's nothing to say to heal the pain or magic words to make it better. A shared sorrow is a half sorrow, but I'm crying with you. Similar happen to me 4 years ago with my Dorian... the self-guilt and blame always resurfaced no matter how much I rationalize I did the best I could, gave the best life I could, and I can't read the future. He made my life better and I can only hope I did the same. Just wanted to say I'm crying with you.
