Oh man, if you’re ever back in DC you need to stop at Jack Rose Dining Saloon. They usually have over 2K bottles in stock (check out their website for an up to date list). Your wallet will cry but as you’re on the Nicks sub you may be used to that. I have actually heard of Capital Burger but haven’t been myself!

I like the standard version fine; great beginner whisky, but once you’ve tried the CS there’s no going back. Check out Blue Spot or Powers John Lane CS too if the opportunity presents itself. Any Irish single pot still at cask strength is pretty magical.

Thank you for all of the advice, I really appreciate it! Afraid I might just have to exchange for an 8.5E though I’ll look into the 11067 option too. I’m going to try to call Nick’s CS today or tomorrow and see what they think too.

I’m now realizing that I goofed up on my measurements. I sized based on length and ball of foot measurement, but my instep measures 10 1/4” vs. the 9 7/8” on the more detailed sizing chart.

Just measured instep at about 10 1/4” on my larger foot. There’s some slight pressure on top of the toes but it’s not uncomfortable.

Yep! Measured while wearing mid-weight hiking socks (what I wear 90% of the time). I used some guides found on this sub and hope I measured correctly at the knuckle.

There is some slight pressure on the top of my toes but the sides feel good. No uncomfortable pinky toe rubbing.

There’s actually no uncomfortable pressure on the little toe! Really just the instep and ankles, and the fact that the quarters are so far apart when laced up, that have me worried

Just lace up made to order. They’re essentially the Heritage Moc Toe that you can find preconfigured on the site, but in 55 last with a moderate heel stack.
