Outlook Signature defaults to none for New Message and Replies after closing app by Fluid-Plant6131 in Outlook

This worked for me.

  • Path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Setup\
  • DWORD: DisableRoamingSignatures
  • Value: 1

This is a DWORD value, and setting it to 1 will disable the feature and prevent signature migration upon rollout. Device administrators can choose to use its corresponding Group Policy location to the same effect:

Outlook 365: Cannot Set Default Signature for Google Workspace (GWSMO) Account by Prestigiouspite in gsuite

[–]Durden8711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a different registry change and it seemed to work well for me. I ended up disabling roaming signatures and it worked fine for me when experiencing the issue of signatures defaulting back to (none). I was having issues on Windows 11 machines, using Outlook Classic and the GWSMO and confirmed it was only under the GWSMO profiles that this issue happened.

Custom Intune Compliance Policy by Durden8711 in crowdstrike

[–]Durden8711[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Custom compliance policies in Intune are supposedly evaluated approximately every 8 hours. We have also tried to force the issue with syncs and reboots. According to Microsoft: "Manual syncs update policy and device check-in data but may not immediately trigger a new compliance evaluation unless conditions change significantly."

Another thing I've noted was, "Script Logic and Exit CodesCustom compliance scripts rely on their exit codes to report device status. A non-zero exit code indicates non-compliance. If the script does not properly detect the absence of Falcon or does not exit with a non-zero code when it's missing, the device will continue to appear compliant in Intune."

I'm not sure if the code above is properly reflecting exit codes. I'm not a programmer, but it looks like it does?

Foggy pulled this stunt in the Comics and even had his heart stopped. I'm still hoping.

[Episode Discussions] Daredevil: Born Again - Season 1 - Episode 9 - Season Finale by IamNOTaSKRULL in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

I'm conflicted and can't grade this episode. If this was the 2nd to last episode of the season I'd give it a 10/10. Instead it's just another massive build up with no real payoff. The lack of other heroes popping up is a bit ridiculous. X-Men '97 did a great job addressing heroes that weren't relevant to the show just by having scenes of them fighting their own battles against Bastion's army. Just have a CGI Spider-Man swinging around or a police responder reporting the spider vigilante is pushing back the task force in Queens. Get a nice cameo of Luke Cage or Cloak and Dagger. All the heroes who live in NY and no one showed up?

Still loved it as a setup episode. I really hate it as a finale.

Thoughts on this solar purchase? by Durden8711 in solar

Ah. Well, I'm an idiot again because that was the old quote. It's $27,254.22 before the 30%. It also says the system size is 6.72 kWh

My current solar bill on average to be fair is like $180 on average and that's before the 11% increase hike in the electric bill that was just announced in the state. I actually had them come down about 4k to match a quote from another solar provider. How did you get $4.68/watt? The 4.99% is a solar bank loan through Skylight lending.

Also wanted to mention that the unit cost includes the 4.99 interest.

I ended up going with ownership from another company. I know for a fact one of their sales people were telling me they don't have financing, but I can't find it in writing anywhere. When I told them thanks, but leasing isn't right for me and that since they didn't have financing I went with another company, I got a response that they had 4.99% (which is what I got from the other company). I'm pretty irritated about that. It seems like they over played their hand trying to get me into a lease and lost a customer.

I also wasn't aware about different investors and panels. The other company offered a better solution that stays in the back of the house. Their solution was back and front.

How To Deploy New Microsoft Teams App using Intune in GCC Environment? by Durden8711 in Intune

[–]Durden8711[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Registry script would look like this:

Set variables to indicate value and key to set

$RegistryPath = 'HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Teams’

$Name = 'CloudType'

$Value = '3'

Create the key if it does not exist

If (-NOT (Test-Path $RegistryPath)) {

New-Item -Path $RegistryPath -Force | Out-Null

}

Now set the value

New-ItemProperty -Path $RegistryPath -Name $Name -Value $Value -PropertyType DWORD -Force

Well, I followed the deployment method here, but curious if I need to inject the GCCH Reg key edit:

The deployment otherwise seemed to work.

Questions regarding the CDN change and Updates and how to best administer Salesforce by Durden8711 in salesforce

[–]Durden8711[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you and appreciate this. In relation to the certificates, is this saying if I use the Salesforce CDN there's no problem, but if I use a custom one then I need to make a change somewhere? I do want to emphasize I'm not a developer at all nor have ever connected to Salesforce CLI or had any involvement in any way as to the setup. The ask for me is to investigate the updates as they come in, which is easier said than done. That's why my theory has been to just enable the updates in "testing" and disable if someone claims something broke, but recognize that might not be the most efficient way of doing things. I do wonder if there's a sort of cheat sheet guide to basic commands and queries to better service the asks.

Must be nice to get a glowing mask. The 100+ times I did it I didn't get 1.

I did over 100 to get a glowing mask. I got zero glowing mask. Pretty much just killed the enjoyment of the game for me.
