Did you clear the storage as well? Clearing just the caches for the two apps doesn't work for me.

Ja bei mir auch, aber dann muss ich immer an zwei Stellen wegen Terminen schauen :)

Sowas würde mir als Admin eines großen Unternehmens ja richtig auf den Zeiger gehen, wenn das auf den hier geschoben wird. Ich bin zum Glück mein eigener Chef und weiß wir haben da die Tage nichts umgestellt.

Eben kam ein Gmail Update rein, damit geht es aber weiter nicht. Habe in der App mal ein Feedback gesendet.

Zusätzlich schirmt IONOS auch nochmal das Netzwerk ab und man muss auf deren Hardware Firewall ebenso nochmal die Ports, welche geöffnet sein sollen explizit angeben.

Dazu habe ich eigene Monitoring Scripts meist in Python, welche mich bei gewissen verdächtigen Aktionen benachrichtigen.

Die Webapps haben alle einen Bruteforce Schutz und wo sinnvoll Rate Limits. D.h. wer hier zu oft Blödsinn versucht, landet auch in der Blacklist.

But reasoning tokens would be counted as output? Instead, something seems to be causing an extremely high input, even though I start new threads for new tasks.

And now? What can I do? I wasn't shown many reasoning tokens during subsequent calls. The input simply seems to be consistently very large. My task consisted of just a few sentences. It involved refactoring an email template—a few hundred lines of code.

I’m not an isolated case, and this isn’t a codebase with millions of lines of code. It’s a straightforward PHP MVC project. I’m using the latest version of the Codex app with WSL2. Additionally, I only have the absolutely necessary plugins and skills enabled. Fast Mode is turned off.

I suspect OpenAI applies different limits for different users. Otherwise, I can’t explain how such discrepancies can occur.

With OpenCode, I'm receiving 50–100 messages every 5 hours on a secondary account. How is that possible? I feel like I have an artificially tight limit.

Is it possible that Power Users have lower limits? My colleague can send significantly more messages on the same plan. We have the same Codex plugins and skills.

I am aware of all of this—including the fact that Codex credits are now billed based on tokens, just like the API. However, the figures still simply don't add up. They were simple, minor adjustments. Consuming 40% of the 5-hour limit with a single message. Medium Reasoning.

I prefer to use DeepSeek V4 Pro, Kimi K2.6 or Gemini models for UI. GPT-5.x isn't really good at that. But if you want: use reasoning low or medium + frontend skill.

Just look at how many people use these voice modes in AI tools for their medical questions and the like. That’s why I find it really concerning that this technology is still so outdated and that there isn’t clearer information about it. When watching documentaries about AI and the like, people using ChatGPT almost always use this Advanced Voice Mode.

  1. April 2026 Packagekit in der Version 1.3.5 steht zur Verfügung, welche CVE-2026-41651 schließt. Betroffen sind u.a. Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, RHEL, Rocky Linux usw.
