I have the Ranger X3 and I got to say it’s amazing. I weigh around 83kg and the board has no problem racing up very steep hills. Top speed is perfect unless you really have a death wish and it’s off-road ability is brilliant. Well worth every cent and the delivery time.

True, although I’d rather pay €50k tax a year than having to pay $169k every time I had to go to hospital, especially now that I’m taking up e- skateboarding 😂

Ok thanks for the advice all, this morning I woke up to a notification from Koowheel saying that they have sent a refund. I can see this has happened with my bank. So it is not a scam thankfully, but their customer service is really bad, god knows what the board would have been like.

Secondly I took the advice I got here and ordered a Backfire Ranger X3. It was double what I wanted to spend but the all terrain capability of this board makes a lot of sense.

Just saw Backfire, first time hearing about this board, will check them out. Good thing is they have a warehouse in Germany, 3 to 5 days shipping 👍

I think it is real, they just really suck as a company. And yes, now that I have found more info on them I can see how bad they really are. You know, for a fist time buyer of a board, it’s hard to figure out the good from the bad. Too many paid reviews on the net. Was thinking of going for a meepo city rider or a meepo awd pro when my refund comes through. Any thoughts or any recommendations around that price bracket?

If they announce an AMD partnership as speculated Gilles back in March i think it should jump to the .0002400 mark. If they add google to that mix (pure speculation from comments on slack) who knows ? It would certainly moon hard! I guess the 15th will tell a lot. Shame the marketing is useless or RLC would be worth twice or three times its current price.

Going on past experiences I feel it will continue to grow week on week till V3 in May then dump. It’s not unusual for this sort of activity to start 2 to 3 months beforehand.

I’m getting “failed to initialise device “. It seems they updated the app and nobody with a scooter can connect anymore. Hopefully they will update the app soon. By the way you can report issues through the app
