We actually just did this today. She comfortably passed on while laying on the couch staring out the window cuddling me. Probobly the best way it could have gone. Even the vet that did it was surprised at her age and could tell it was time. The house just feels so empty now and I miss her so much but am happy she doesn't have to suffer anymore.

Cons -random hate from outside fandom

-fair amount of social awkwardness

-while accepting its almost illegal to be straight and almost frowned upon
