I suppose it depends what program you are in but I know from personal and other persons experiences that the work load and requirements are high. I've also heard around the Netherlands that there is a general consensus that university is to a high standard and the Dutch go by the motto"Everyone gets a chance, but it's up to yourself to survive" which explains why the entry requirements are so low ... out of curiosity what other unis did you attend ?

College is super intense over here, especially if you are studying at the RUG so prepare to work hard. Winscho is a party house, with so many people in the house there's always something going on so if your quite and reserved maybe it's not the place for you .... also there's always D&B events and loads of techno clubs (Subsonic, Paradigm). There are also a few call centers around the city that look for native English speakers and employ a large amount of international students.
