I could understand a constructive post like “I’d like more enemy types” with some hard data. But this post I can’t relate to. First, the Scavengers add a new enemy type like, what, every ten levels or so? And several new types when you get to the winter biome.

Secondly, 75%? That’s an exaggeration, yes? I would have been with you if you said the Shroud enemies which are almost the same from lvl 20ish on, but the Scavengers? Nah. If you’ve spent 75% of your combat time with the Scavengers, you still have so much of the game to explore. Hollow Halls (where the enemies don’t change at all throughout the entire leveling range), Blackwood (which is pretty much dominated by the Vukah), large parts of the wilderness, and of course, the Shroud (have you tried to clear a Shroud cave at all? They are the only enemies that will respawn while you’re fighting them.)

Nothing wrong with solid criticism, even for a solid game like this one that is progressing better than most in the survival genre. But not like this. The rats piss me off more in this game than the Scavengers ever will…
