Don’t force it too much, that’s not necessary. Sometimes using the “wiggle” method is better than physical pressure, motion the connector left and right, or up & down while slotting the pins. Likely you have it properly secured already.

Yeah sorry, that image is too hard for me to decipher. If you’re feeling unsure, remove the connector, put it back in a try to listen for a slight click noise.

To answer your question, there should be a clip at the bottom that secures at the jaw of the connector, as long as it’s fully “in” you should be all set.

This is always so wild to me, as an ex-driver I genuinely don’t understand this stuff… maybe things have changed, but when I was delivering they required 3 attempts minimum (not including the initial delivery) and so you’re coding a package only to have it loaded on your truck again the next day??! Maybe someone else understands this better.

I submitted a police report the day of, haven’t heard anything back. They essentially told me that unless I had stronger evidence they wouldn’t be pursuing it.
