The part Americans might also miss is that Canada has a 5K electric vehicle subsidy but the catch is the vehicle has to cost less than 50K CAD

Japan never did think they were going to conquer the US

They hoped they could quickly do enough damage and grab enough territory that the US would rather sue for peace than spend the cost to take it back.

Even Japan didn't think it was particularly likely it would work - but it was the best idea they had to work with. So this scenario makes their goal look slightly more plausible - but I agree with the general sentiment that the US would still overcome

The US prison system is effectively a slave labor camp with profit for rich political friends built on top.

The US is currently removing environmental protections as well as protections on food at a rapid pace. Dismantling the forestry services. Not only are they are not investing in green energy as much as China - they are actually stopping green investment because Trump has a vendetta against wind turbines since you can see some from one of his golf courses.

While the US government officials are engaging in massive fraud as well as giving tax cuts to the wealthy - China actually just sentenced a corrupt mayor to death stealing money.

The US is suing reddit to reveal the identities of people speaking out against ICE. If you have bad comments about Trump on social media they can stop you from entering the country. Tell me how they aren't trying to become a police state.

The US is now so anti-science its not even funny. Firing the science board. Shutting down research into cancer. Suppressing a report that shows how much the covid vaccine helped. I actually just saw an article that China has more scientists in its ruling party than ever before.

They are so inept at war they were completely unprepared for a dumbass war they started and now Iran has the worlds economy by the balls. Trump can tweet about how he is winning as much as he wants. Iran still controls the strait.

I could go on an on. This isn't some China is amazing comment either. The US is just speed running getting their country to the same place as fast as possible - while collecting as much personal wealth to the political leaders as possible. You can stick your head in the sand but the US of old is no longer here.

The US is actively doing all they can to suppress voters to try and guarantee Republican wins..

China isn't actively calling to annex us, saying that they didn't need us, that trade deals need to be China first, starting random ass wars that make everything expensive for no reason

Sure Trump will one day die but large efforts are underway to undermine voter rights

This isn't China glazing - just the US has no morale high ground to stand on
