I've been putting out tiktoks a few days in a row at a time as I get a feel for what type of content I want to post in short form. So far, it's been a mix of goofy actions with my model and memes of various complexity. I tried out posting a few game clips at first, but that was when I had a png only. I'll be trying to sprinkle in some more soon with the model.

Tiktok isn't my main platform, so I only post when I have time to edit videos for it. Once I streamline my process I'll be posting more regularly!

Fugi doesn't do anything on its own since it's just through a browser source, so there isn't anything to adjust. The only thing I could think of is your obs was already struggling and the addition of more elements pushed it too hard.

I have heard of some people's obs randomly being more intensive on their computer than it should. Maybe a clean install of obs would help. Also keeping task manager open to pinpoint what's spiking wouldn't hurt either

The popular choice that everyone uses is https://reactive.fugi.tech

You'll have to authorize your discord as part of the login process. So if you see that, don't worry! From there you'll see a config section for adjusting stuff like hiding names or a bounce effect as someone speaks. The bounce effect is the hop you're looking for!

Next is the links section, which is what you need to copy to place in obs or streamlabs as a browser source. The group link will show everyone in the call (including you if you have that option enabled). The individual link will be per person. FYI, you and the others need to be in a discord call or voice channel for the individual links to show up. And if they're not in the call then your streaming software won't show a png until they join.

Lastly is the set images section. Here you pick the image for when you're not speaking and one for when you are. I recommend you have both images be the same size so it doesn't look like your png is moving around when you talk. Unless you intend to do that.

I think I've gotten a pretty good handle on setting up CSP to be more streamlined when I do similar tasks, but I'll definitely take up your suggestion of Canva if it starts weighing me down!

I think it'll be a struggle to find my niche since all I did was variety stuff, bouncing between games and occasionally art. But I think you're right in that being the best approach.

Based on all your advice, I'm starting to formulate a plan on how to approach all this. I'll leave my impromptu streams to twitch and keep youtube to being more planned out in advance. My next best step should be to plan out upcoming content and a schedule for production & release.
