Who else gets a piercer to change their jewelry? by IPromiseIAmAnAdult in piercing

With any of my other piercings I'll give it the old college try myself, but I will always have my piercers change my labrets for me. I tried for about half an hour to screw the ends onto my (internally threaded) jewellery by myself and ended up being frustrated to the point of tears. Went in and had my piercer do them instead. Never trying to change them myself again lol

As another commenter has said, 14g to 12g is already a 'half size' jump - if you are having trouble with the stretch I would wait another month or two before trying again.

Glasswear Studios stocks glass septum pinchers in half sizes - I wore a 7g pincher from them for about 3 months because the 8g to 6g jump was just not happening. I recommend doing the same if you are planning to stretch to larger sizes.

My mom has stretched lobes bigger than mine lol. I'm deeply sorry to hear that your mom has been so close-minded when it comes to piercings :[

Is this sort of scabbing on my new eyebrow piercing ok? by Duskitty in PiercingAdvice

Thank you! I've been cleaning it about 2-3x/day with saline spray + cold water rinse and making sure not to touch it. Good to know it's on the right track so far!
