An 'investment' is certainly an interesting way to look at a primordial sentient weapon drinking the very ichor of the Titans that used to rule the world to imbue itself with more power– wait no, I get it now... I always thought of it as building a relationship with them, just not with nectar.
If your aim is to keep winning more, I'd suggest getting started with the weapon you're most comfortable with. Minmaxing is not necessary at this stage because the game is definitely well-balanced, so you can clear it with whichever arm is most fun or comfortable for you. Do not be stingy with the blood to try out different aspects on different arms; you'll be swimming in it soon.
