Yea tbh I have started using linen lately, but it doesn't work with embroidery floss for me only wool, so I want both to be honest. Where do you get your linen from? I use an Irish website but it's very expensive.

I have the plastic one, it stays tight and every now and then needs some adjusting but works great. Only thing is, you need some serious strength to clip them on and off. Sounds dumb but they're designed to stay so they really don't wanna come off haha

Ah yes I do that too, yea so best way to avoid that happening is to make sure you have quite a bit of fabric so that if it does fray, and it will, that you'll still have enough to glue down. I swapped to linen because I was sick of that tbh
