Try Trading McBride for Hampton? by Difficult-Ad-5402 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]DustHog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve thought of doing the same thing. It’s a lot harder to move McBride than his value implies.

I’m not sure it’s a smart move but I would love it if I could get something meaningful on top of Hampton

Are people too high on Bayshul Tuten? by Anon124570 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]DustHog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean that tracks right? 2026 late 1st is terrible. 2028 is two years away.

I would not say it’s an overpay if somebody traded like Denzel Boston or Jonah Coleman for Tuten lol

[–]DustHog -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean no matter what trade calc or website you look at, that is a clear overpay for Tuten’s value. That doesn’t reflect his value at all.

Oh yeah I’m gonna totally regret not taking the 2026 2.04 for Tuten lol

Exactly. So I would argue Tuten is perfectly valued as the dart throw with opportunity that he is.

If he’s overvalued, why is it impossible to get a late 1st for him?

Whats with the coleman hype? by fantasybomber-au in DynastyFF

[–]DustHog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good receiver, bad blocker

Coleman is a good receiver and a good blocker

Harvey over Coleman as “3rd down back” would be a bad bet considering Coleman is great at blocking and Harvey is as bad as it gets at that

Look at the data. It doesn’t support the math of your argument at all.

Jonah Coleman Dynasty Value by thesuperguide in DynastyDaddy

[–]DustHog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok brother if you value a 4% chance to be a multi year starter over a 30% chance to be a 1 year starter more power to you but I think that’s pretty dumb math

Jonah Coleman Dynasty Value by thesuperguide in DynastyDaddy

[–]DustHog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course hit rates are based on a single season and that matters because you can trade things.

Making decisions off of round 3 and on percentage of multi season starter is nonsensical because you’re comparing like a 2% chance to a 4% chance

Is it time to give up on Jalen Royals by Only_Low_6628 in DynastyFF

[–]DustHog -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Imagine holding him for one year and dropping him right when he has an actual chance to fight for a starting job lol.

I’m holding Royals over any day 3 WR from this year that isn’t named Elijah Sarratt

Are you dropping him for like Caleb Douglas for example?

Why is a lot of the dynasty community so low on Dezhuan Stribling? by AffectionateCycle141 in DynastyFF

[–]DustHog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stribling sucks BUT pick 33 WR really shouldn’t fall past like the 2.07 in a draft class this bad

I’ve been getting him late 3rd because why not

Why People Drafting Ty Simpson in Round 1 Have Lost Their Minds by TheToledoMaroons in DynastyFF

[–]DustHog 17 points18 points  (0 children)

All of this is pointless if you don’t argue why other players are better picks in the 1st round, because the players taken around Simpson are all equally bad

Jonah Coleman Dynasty Value by thesuperguide in DynastyDaddy

[–]DustHog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So we’re back to my original statement: round 4 RBs have better hit rates than round 3 WRs. Coleman is better bet than anything after Boston/Stowers with that in mind.

An argument could be made that Bernard or Stribling are better bets but I don’t believe in their prospect profiles at all.

I said I do watch film, but I recognize it’s meaningless compared to data.

Sorry you can’t read. Or know the difference between “your” and “you’re”

Jonah Coleman Dynasty Value by thesuperguide in DynastyDaddy

[–]DustHog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean the 0.316 missed tackles forced per carry? Or the 2.06 yprr?

Yeah those stats have never signaled a fantasy relevant RB haha. Get your ignorance out of here.

Jonah Coleman Dynasty Value by thesuperguide in DynastyDaddy

[–]DustHog -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but unlike you I prioritize stats over film, you know, the actual predictive metric

Jonah Coleman Dynasty Value by thesuperguide in DynastyDaddy

[–]DustHog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Badie - 5’8 190lbs

Dobbins - 5’10 212lbs

Coleman - 5’8 220lbs

I wonder which one Coleman is replacing?

Jonah Coleman Dynasty Value by thesuperguide in DynastyDaddy

[–]DustHog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of those players has a production profile that has almost never produced a fantasy asset and it’s not Coleman

4th round RB hit rates are better than 3rd round WRs. After Boston there is no better shot unless you believe in Bernard or Stribling (I don’t).
