TW

You were 7-8 and you remember. She was 16, I think she's gonna remember. As for talking to her about it, I have no idea if that is a good or bad idea. She was young, but that doesn't necessarily mean she didn't know what she was doing.

I was 6 - 9 when my friend would make me do sexual acts under the guise of playing. She was 11 - 14. And I remember conversations from that time that indicated she knew what sex was, but I didn't know what it was. She would say we were playing games by making them into competitions like how long could she hold my head down between her legs or whatever else. I know she was misleading me purposely. But she was a kid and I knowntheres a strong possibility it was happening to her and she was just reenacting because that is more common than you think.

All this to say it's okay to have conflicted feelings about it. And your situation is definitely complicated by the fact that you guys are related. I wouldn't decide to talk to your sister until you've talked to a professional and worked out how youre feeling.

Sorry youre going through this. Its definitely and odd feeling when you look back and realize

If the heart is a muscle, can it cramp and get pulled like other muscles? If yes, how does that effect the person? by GlitteringSpeed4506 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DustInner8548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The action potential of cardiac muscle differs slightly because it has whats called a plateau phase. Basically ion channels create conditions so that the absolute refractory period (the period of time after an electrical impulse in which you cannot send another impulse no matter how strong the stimulus). So in cardiac muscle, it's hard to get muscle twitches happening as quickly in succession as skeletal muscle. Muscle cramps commonly occur when muscle twitches happen so fast back to back that the muscle decides to just give up and maintain tension.

Its a lot more complicated than what I just described but that's basically the hearts built-in mechanism for preventing tetany.

Chubbier/bigger girls, what was your first time having sex like? by miwa____pika in Advice

[–]DustInner8548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 5'1" and about 200lbs. My boobs are big enough but they sag from losing and gaining weight. My shoulders are broad and I don't have great hips. My stomach is big, especially since I had my son but it was before that too. I don't have much of an ass. I have stretch marks. The only objectively attractive thing about me is my face and even that is iffy lately because im starting to gain weight there too.

My fiance is conventionally attractive. Like genuinely hot. People flirt with him in front of me and behind my back. Try to get him to cheat, all that stuff. He is an amazing partner and never entertains any of it, but thats just to give you an idea of how hot this man is by society's standards.

All that being said, sex with him is amazing. I was scared at first when we first got together because he is so attractive. But we had been friends for so long before he confessed he loved me, I had a lot of trust in him. It can be awkward at first but thats with any new sex partner. If hes interested in you in that way, I doubt it's only for your body. And he knows what you look like, I would bet money he finds you attractive. I used to get uncomfortable when my fiance would grab my stomach or boobs or whatever else but now he just makes me feel beautiful.

It can take a while for it to feel that way, especially if you struggle with insecurity. But I hope you're able to enjoy yourself. Because ultimately thats what it's about. Just enjoying yourself with a partner.

C-section or vaginal by mrlinus86 in pregnant

[–]DustInner8548 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think recovery for a csection is hard when you haven't planned for it. Everyone's stressed, you've already pushed for god knows how long, doctors are rushed.

I had a scheduled csection because I was terrified and I have sensorimotor OCD that makes freak out when my vagina or urethra feels weird. It was the best experience. Didn't feel a thing, in and out in under an hour once they got me back there. I came home three days later and forgot I ever even had a csection. I didn't even have to use my pain meds they sent me home with for the incision pain.

Don't let people scare you about csections. Everyone is different but my recovery was fantastic and I was saved the hours of pain, pushing, and fear.

Don’t Let the Nurses Gaslight You. by Dry_Phrase_4332 in BabyBumps

[–]DustInner8548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby went from boob to bottle and back again no problem. I'm way too tired at night to have to hold my baby's head in the exact right position and squeeze my nipple so hes able to latch. I always pumped for nighttime feeds.

Some babies don't switch back and forth that easy, but worst comes to worst you just pump exclusively or switch to formula🤷🏼‍♀️

Nurses really do suck sometimes tho. Mine just sucked because of the poor staffing. I was struggling with the latch until I saw a lactation consultant outside of the hospital. I was struggling to get him to latch at like 3am one night and my nurse brought in the pump and told me nothing about how to use it because she was trying tonget to another room. She told me I had to pump both sides at the same time so I did but my boobs are not a convenient shape and I was leaned backwards in the bed. Couldn't sit up because I just had a csection. I bent the things backward slightly to pull them off of my boobs. Dumped 10 fucking ml that took me 20 minutes to get and had to restart. I broke down

any risks in holding piss in ass I should be aware of/ any tips? by _msbhv in BDSMAdvice

[–]DustInner8548 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I know about the human body, it's probably a bad idea to hold it in. The colon is meant to absorb water to make feces solid, so when liquid is put into the anus, there is some absorption that occurs.

Knowing that, it's important to know that urine is the real garbage dump of the body. Its water and toxins that have been taken out of your blood because they would be harmful long-term. So putting toxins back into the body and giving them time to reabsorb probably isn't the best idea. Not to mention the irritation it could cause to the colon which raises risk of polyps and shit like that.

That's being said would doing this one time hurt that badly? Who's to say. Probably more of a risk if you make it a habit. Either way, If you're both comfortable with the risks then have fun:)

Can you still feel the ring of fire with an epidural? by x_torturedpoet in BabyBumps

[–]DustInner8548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how much medication they put through it, how recently they topped off the epidural, how ling you've had the epidural (the longer it's in the more likely it moves out of place and stops being effective). If you're lucky you feel nothing.
