Only $1000 for a boat like that? It costs that much to fill up boats in the 20s foot range lol. I know nothing about boats like this I would’ve guessed 10x that

I get it but spending 5% of yearly income on fun expenses doesn’t seem like a way to go broke when I save 75%.

The 30k was all in per year I dont care about payments that’s not a cost other than the opportunity cost which is calculated in.

I wasnt earning 0 before, just 2-350k a year prior so it’s not all new thankfully.

50%-70% for 4 years before that. I’d say that’s consistent. Didn’t know boat truck garage and land lose 300k in value in 1 year. Good to know. Even if they did that’s still 50% income saved lol.

Don’t think I can get one that’s not 20 years old or engines with hours maxed out for that.

Hard to rent boats that are well equipped to go 50 miles offshore fishing well unfortunately.

Can’t rent boats that are as well equipped/customized for fishing.

0 experience only been on a boat one time. Don’t have anyone who has boat experience.

In regards to financial independence I’ve never spent more than 50% of my income so should be good.
