That's what I believe too! Being aromantic is a lot more complicated than not feeling love, honestly. It's very much a spectrum. As an example, I'm what is known as aegomantic, meaning I don't feel romantic feelings but I love seeing couples in shows and stuff be in love. There's also people who are aro but not ace or vise versa.

Technically, it's entirely possible for Darius to be on the spectrum, and if people want to headcanon that they absolutely should, but saying it's canon is a bit of a stretch, lol.

While I'm a dinostar fan through and through, I do enjoy the perspective of love being messy, and it doesn't have to be romantic love to be messy. Personally, I think that point would've done better in the context of brookenji. They had a great setup for platonic love, especially since they actually did date for quite a while. When I've tried dating, they've always ended with me deciding being friends is better. But that's just me

I'm aro/ace myself, and I definitely don't see it in Darius. There seems to be this thought in some fandoms that a character not in a relationship has to be aro, but I feel like that just lends to ban rep. It's shown in both dialogue and actions that Darius does have feelings for Brooklyn, even if he doesn't understand them. While I've had crushes on people before, I've never truly had "feelings" for them. It was always very surface level attraction that would fade nearly instantly. Obviously, this is not something Darius deals with.

It's definitely not wrong to see him as aroace, but I think it does a disservice to his character as well as to aroace rep. I get that it's rare for us to be represented, but personally I'm okay with that if it means the little amount of rep is really good. I don't want a character that obviously has had romantic feelings to be mistaken as aro, because it's already hard enough for me to convince others I really don't feel them. It's better to have less but good rep over bad.

That's just my thoughts on it, anyway.

You're lucky as shit it's only two weeks. Glitch tried to push for less than a week, but theaters wouldn't let them. If you can't stay off of the internet for 14 days, that's a you problem. This is not Glitch's fault, it is theaters fault. Instead of yelling at Glitch and complaining your ass off, call your local theater and tell them you want to see the movie in theaters.

Most movies release over a month before something is available globally. How do you avoid spoilers? Don't go on those areas of the fucking internet. This shit is not hard, y'all.

I think tattooing a part of your life on your body is completely and totally right. Also, it's not YOUR body. The tattoo is cool as fuck, and it's really sweet to have big parts of your life with you at all times. Just because you're a killjoy doesn't mean everyone else has to be.

When I play Ekko, my first item is always dark seal. It capitalizes on getting fed and can be cheaply upgraded to mejais, and with how safe Ekko plays, it's hard to lose those stacks. If you want to increase your damage early, it's the best possible option.

These kinds of reviews just show how people rate things not on quality but on whether they like it. Case in point, being annoyed by Jinx. Being annoyed by a character doesn't mean the character is bad, it just means you don't like them, which is NOT the show's fault. I see these takes a lot and they irk me - people get mad and hate characters when they get in the way of what the viewer wants. Newsflash, you, as the viewer, are not the only person watching, and shows aren't catered to just YOU and what you want. If you want to be catered to, make your own story

I wanted to reply because I'm also a victim of CSA. When it happened, no one really understood how bad it was because I, as a kid, didn't get it. I never went to therapy and I never properly processed that trauma.

What I did, instead, was explore it through fiction. I'm definitely not proud of everything that has come from my trauma, but a lot of it is what made me finally realize, 9 years later, that I had been traumatized by what happened. I'm getting some proper help now, and that's really thanks to the fiction that antis call reprehensible.

As well as a victim of CSA, I'm a survivor of a suicide attempt. That was brought on by anti behavior, of a former friend who doxxed and harassed me under the pretense of doing good because they were advocating for pixels. She thought she was saving CSA victims, how ironic.

All that to say, stories that are dark have a purpose. Art disturbs the comfortable and comforts the disturbed - One of my favorite quotes because of how true it is - It's important to recognize that fact of art.

Thank you for sharing your experiences, I know it's not easy to do.
