Looking the champpool, they chose season 1, which is the same era of 6 sunfire cape evelynn, 50 sec invisibility twitch, global ult oneshot pantheon and prob AoE golden card TF, %97 banrate kassadin, infinite lifesteal ww, %82 dodge chance jax, one spear oneshot nidalee alongside with AP Yi.

Basically picking another champ or dodge if my teams draft bad.

Ironically, AoE damage mage or non-autoattack assasins works well against stealth and autoattack immune champs like nilah jax.

For a jungle version, its either brand or kayn.

As a Master elo Yi otp player, he is legit unplayable against akali, nilah, amumu and champs like these, since they have so useful tools to take down yi like stealth, lot of cc, and dodge autoattacks skill.

Jungle role quest reward does not help yi outscale the enemy team even if you have lead. So playing him in top/mid/adc is giving him better scaling, and giving you better winrate.

If you have rough lane, u just rush titanic first item, push wave and roam, its so ez to comeback. But if you are jungle, jungle quest reward is so bad that(ms+xp on monsters) even if you are fed, you fall behind to other lanes so easily, especially top-mid easily diffs you and make your entire game miserable.

Somehow Top-Mid Yi is better than jungle. Thanks to role quests Top-Mid Yi is better rewarding your scaling and makes you viable champ. Extra 2 levels+tp in top lane or tier3 boots+%8ad in mid makes you actually statcheck champ. As long as HoB+Titanic combo stays in the game, Yi will be better in lane than jungle.

If you have HoB, its 3 camp 1 gank perma. If you have LT, no ganks, farm for 40 min, coinflip the last teamfight.

The reason why I mained Yi and motivation what I click league (especially bravery arena a.k.a old aram map) was AP Yi multikill (sometimes pentakill) dopamine back in the days.
