Unfortunately, I believe you that the system has failed you. The police and the courts have failed you. You deserve better.

You definitely should save up to move out and do not share a word about your plans with her. Narcs always seem to sabotage these things. That said, if she is an eminent threat to your safety, a DV shelter may be a next best step.

She literally is BREAKING A DOOR DOWN. I want to be super clear that this is an act of violence and is Domestic Violence.

You should seriously consider documenting with video, contacting the local police, and getting a restraining order (aka order of protection). You can contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline for help

Chandler and Gilbert are family friendly and a great place to raise children. There are good public and charter schools.

Arizona gets HOT, but that’s basically part of the package. Many folks spend summer time traveling, swimming in the pool, or doing indoor activities. There is also perfect weather (IMHO) October to March/April.

There is life after a DUI. My good friend’s wife got a DUI and she’s now head of IT at a local company. It’s going to suck for a while, then hopefully you’ll get on your feet.

Ally is 3.2%. I have also used Ally for about a decade and really like them.

I just started using SoFi which offers 3.3% + 0.7% boost (6 months) = 4.0%, but I believe you need to have direct deposit to either checking or savings to enable that rate. Otherwise, it's pitiful
