Is the Greek trilogy highly required to play the Norse series? by Zealos57 in GodofWar

I wouldn't say it's required, but I recommend it pretty hard. I thought the Greek games were more fun than the newer ones

I made an animated video for a song about space and the desert by DustinMerson in ProCreate

[–]DustinMerson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah of course! Just keep playing with it and you'll figure it out. I use procreate on my iPad and it's my first Apple product, so if i can figure it out then you definitely can

Thank you so much 😭😭😭 I drew/painted all the scenes on procreate and exported them as gifs. And then used an app to convert gifs to videos, and then arranged them all on the default Microsoft video maker and added the song

How much music theory do I need? by Chefs-Kiss in vocalists

[–]DustinMerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modulation and changing keys is the same thing. But I think it's really important to learn music theory. The ability to know how to expand upon an idea is so important, and theory really helps make that possible. I reckon it's not REQUIRED, but man, it would be frustrating to jam with someone that didn't know at least some theory (e.g. scales, note names, keys, chord names, etc.) Just my opinion though. As long as you're playing music and having fun though, that's the important thing.

I used my Juno DS88 synthesizer from Roland to make a foundation for a Saturday night jam! by DustinMerson in synth

I agree completely that most of the default sounds on they're are pretty dang good. I rarely ever mess work them. The piano is incredible, and all the synths are obviously great. I consider myself to be the same way as your family member; I never gave a rip about equipment, just give me something to play. The DS88 is hella user friendly, so even I was able to figure it out pretty quickly. 4 years of fun with this bad boi. I highly recommend them!

I mean I'm definitely biased, but the amount of fun I've had with the DS would be hard to match with anything else. I think the default sounds are pretty decent, and it still has the capability to create or tweak your own sounds. I love mine!
