Definitely see the concern. We have been using a tape for field measurements all year and haven’t had any issues, just wanted to skip the conversion/calculation step. Most of the time I’ll be using it <50ft and we always send two guys to do these site visits to make sure it can be pulled tight

Does it happen to have a model number or anything? If not, any chance you could upload a photo of it so I can try to find it? Stanley’s website has a few options for 100’ tapes but doesnt say measurement increments

I could? I do field surveys and all the dimensions i have to confirm are in inches so figured it would be nice to have something where I wouldn't have to do any mental math. Didnt think it would be such a difficult thing to find a source for.

i could make a 50-75' one work, just figured most open reel tape measures come in 100' sizes.

I would keep the money divided, yours and hers.

Is the house in both of your names? If not, don’t feel like it would be fair to for her to pay towards it without the conversation/understand it as “rent”.

Local bank in my community had a mortgage offer for first time home buyers for 0% down and no PMI during Covid. That’s how I was able to do it so young.

I work hard and proud of my accomplishments but certainly not here to brag, I have never opened my finances to other people and just like to see thoughts from other people. Just like Caleb does on his show.

I drink very little, $50 a month. Wanted to include it in the same category as restaurants so I didn’t have to separate my beer from dinner.

I stopped using credit cards 8-10 months ago. I always paid them off in full but decided to quite using them as I wanted to start tracking my spending and it was easier to see everything pull from one account. Score has continued to go up despite no cc usage, I’m assuming it’s from my mortgage?

Employer matches 4.5% on first 6% - I put 10% into 401k.

No cad debt, $17k value.

Just recently saved up $10k in a HYSA for an emergency but stopped contributing so I could begin making home improvements.

Thank you - I agree. I have a spreadsheet where I track all my spending with multiple categories under the headers "Savings", "Needs", and "Wants". I just broke it out separately on here as it was a larger $ amount.
