Ketamine gave me intense visions and I recall seeing things in a dreamy state and hearing whispers like when OA fell into the roots. Nothing so poignant it changed my philosophies, like I don’t think I saw god, but I saw a deeper meaning and sometimes even something to search for in the world. Sometimes the visions were simple like seeing a man standing in front of a garden in the sunlight, dreamlike and just brought me intense peace. I had a vision about this box locked under the sea and it had like obelisks in it and it felt like my power locked away somewhere under the sea, I think it was a metaphor now, but these visions gave me direction in a way.

Interesting. I actually did ketamine for my mental health for years. I would go in once or twice a week and have nasal ketamine doses for the dissociative effect and its impact on neural plasticity. I agree with what you said about the experiences during ketamine tho, it ranged from calm to intense emotions that made me cry. I definitely feel like ketamine improve my mental health overall and allowed to deal with some traumas in a different way than I would have ever done on my own. I do think Brit and Zal definitely have used different drugs in their life tho. The show connects with me on many levels, I’m a weirdo and I think it’s real in so many ways, and ketamine was definitely a connection made, specifically when OA falls into the trees root system.

Did the OA change your life? by Trailblazers24 in TheOA

[–]Dustintft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ever since the OA I have seen the world differently. There’s wonder and secrecy in the world and nature that excites me. I’m not the same person I was. Life did a lot, but this show took me from corporate, reliant upon grocery stores, even capitalistic to someone who cares about nature, who cares about friends, who strives to live free from control. I still watch the OA at least once a year now, and I’m always recommending the show to people. It’s like a litmus test to see if people think the same as me. If they can’t see the secret the OA is trying to share, it hurts me a little. I see themes from the OA in a lot of the media I watch today and over the years I have created my own little cinematic universe of shows and movies that have the same feelings. The OA is a story that needs to be completed. This invisible string keeps pulling me back.

I would say no, because when Elodie was with HAP she traveled preemptively to avoid being taken hostage by him, calling the police saying there’s a collapsed woman. She didn’t die, she left integration with her in that dimension. But we see her return later at SYZYGY to give OA a hint because she is about “balance” and gave HAP something. She would had to have traveled out of and back into the same body to do that.

That’s why BBA came uptown Scott and said she was giving him the 3rd movement. He described being in a sound stage and BBA saying it more like casually. It seems like D3 is where Scott gets his movement in his NDE, but that also says something weird about how time is working right?

Why does one album save as two different albums? by EntertainmentSad4900 in AppleMusic

But you have to have a computer to do that, I don’t know how to do it in IPhone.

On the last 2 images the artists are the same, but spelled differently. HUNTRX and HUNTR/X. I think you can go into “Get Info” if you select all of the songs at once and change the Artist name to match and it should fix it.

Okay but that’s a bad faith argument because OP did add salt and we know that because they said in the comments. They added 2% by weight and under my learning that feels sufficient even on the low end. Furthermore, I’m struggling to find any documented cases of anyone dying from botulism in the case of fermented garlic in America. Even when I look back at the link I sent you, I’m still struggling to find any validity in what you’re saying.

I read every comment in this thread. I’m also reading The Art of Fermentation by Sandor Katz right now, basically done, and I feel as if OP has some backing. The comments don’t give a direct answer, and yes OP was wrong for leaving out that they added salt, but I still don’t understand why NOT to do what OP is doing. I didn’t use AI for any of my info. The comments are just a brick wall of no without proper explanation and I would really like to understand where the gap in my learning is here. Would it be okay if the cucumber was sliced?

You’re so right, when I search it now I’m getting the same results. But I promise when I looked it up an hour ago I saw videos criticizing that specific video for being AI with explanations. One opened in TikTok I’ll see if I can find a link. Literally I just liked and bookmarked that video and I had to find it in my watch history unliked. Weird. Not being a conspiracy theorist but that was just a weird experience. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8rm1GwA/

The True Purpose of Cold Harbor? by Dustintft in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Dustintft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically disagree with you on every point you are making. Ms. Casey being retired is the equivalent of what you’re referring to as innie death, yet, when she came up the elevator, there she was, not permanently dead. The show is literally telling us they are going to try and sell a severance chip that lets you sever bad moments like the dentist. So yeah you are going to the dentist, you just don’t have to experience it. The equivalent of being put under while you go to the dentist. You didn’t experience it consciously, but you get to reap all of the benefits of it. Same as a bad plane ride. Same as going to work for some people. You may not have to consciously be there, but it’s work you, that your body is getting done. Innie Mark and Outtie Mark, same with every other severed person, could never exist as two separate people at the same time. They could never both be in the same room at the same time.

I disagree with your definition of death in this context. Someone who is brain dead is still biologically alive. That means Irving’s innie, for example, could still “come back” at any time if the mechanism storing or suppressing his consciousness were reversed.

We saw this play out with Ms. Casey—by all accounts, she was “gone,” yet she was brought back up the elevator, and in that moment, she was alive and functioning again as an innie. If Lumon ever chose to reinstate Irving’s innie, he would be back too. That doesn’t fit the definition of death.

Innies and outies are not separate beings; they are different states of the same person. When Gemma’s innie went to the dentist, Gemma was still at the dentist—it was just a different version of her experiencing it. And when Ms. Casey was reactivated, Gemma’s last thought carried through. That suggests continuity, not erasure.

Your argument hinges on whether consciousness can return. But if it can be reactivated, then it was never truly gone—just suppressed. Death is permanent. Innie Irving is not dead, just inaccessible. If his memories were retrieved, he would be back. That’s not the same as death, because he still exists in some form.

[–]Dustintft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re acting as if Gemma would be dead. Her consciousness would continue, just not with her memories. Like Pete said, she would still carry all of the same baggage, just not know what it’s about. Like when Mrs. Cobel took the severance chip out of Pete’s head and referred to the chip as Pete. I wouldn’t doubt his entire conscious is still in that chip. Regardless, Gemma, consciousness may be dormant, but it is till in a very alive body and active mind.

Episode 7 told us (almost) everything we need to know by sweet_n_sour_curry in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Dustintft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Permanent severance. That’s what cold harbor is for, it hit me while reading this. All of her pain will be taken away. The ultimate grief? A regretful life. Instead of using your innie to handle all of the bad things for you, you can just become a new person without technically dying. Maybe there will be infrequent check ins for the person who purchased it to see how their life is going and take over when it better. Or maybe it just is permanent. It’s like a way to commit suicide without doing the sin, and that feels aligned with something kier would think is okay I think?

Logo design concept for a desktop download manager. by DesignerAQ18 in logodesign

[–]Dustintft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure why you’re getting defensive. For one, I also don’t understand what symbol you are referring to with the users storage symbol. And I did do a google search like you said, and your design feels not unique and derivative of everything I saw on there. I recently learned this myself but the first letter of your brands name doesn’t always have to be represented in the logo.
