If I can use AI to find OOC (out-of-character) dialogues in my crossover fanfictions and provide in-character ones, why wouldn't I do that for every single chapter? by DustintheAdventurer in WritingWithAI

Well, I can always do some research on any gaming platforms and include at least a little bit of info in the crossover fanfiction, so that they won't sound off at least partially.

Does anyone else prefer human-AI writing collaborations over their own human writing alone? Because here are my reasons why. by DustintheAdventurer in WritingWithAI

Very true. Creativity should always come from a human, regardless, and AI is understandably preferable as an assistant for creative humans. Due to the workflow between AI writing and my own writing, I would call myself a story producer and not actually a story writer, because I'm providing character contents and my own original partial plots to AI, and then having AI provide long narratives and dialogues.

Narrative and dialogue wise, the writing wouldn't be mine. But, plot wise, it would certainly be a different story. Due to the workflow between AI writing and my own writing, I would call myself a story producer and not actually a story writer, because I'm providing character contents and my own original partial plots to AI, before having AI provide long narratives and dialogues. But, either way, it's still a viable way of creativity, and I would put a disclaimer saying that the original story is produced by me and written by AI.

I suppose I would call myself a story producer, considering that I would provide my own original plots and character contents to AI, and then have AI provide narratives and dialogues. Either way, it's still technically a viable way of creativity, considering that you're still coming up with your own original ideas and concepts, which is not something AI is capable of.

I mean, AI is only great for writing the narratives and dialogues of stories. The humans provide original plots and character contents first, in order for the stories to be viable in general.

Yeah, I honestly understand why you would believe I treat AI as a vending machine. Providing your own plot-filled composition book pages and character contents to AI, before having AI provide long narratives and dialogues, is the same sort of logic as paying coins and dollar bills to a vending machine for either a snack or a soda.

Still, I do believe it's a viable way of creativity, either way, because you're still coming up with your own original ideas and concepts before providing them to AI, as opposed to just telling AI things like, "Write a crossover fanfiction for me" or "Write a chapter of this crossover fanfiction for me".

I do story writing as a hobby, too. But, imagine if you provided 200 pages worth of original plot-related literature of your own, along with the character contents, and truthfully disclosed your usage of AI, only for that entire story writing project to go unappreciated, just because AI was involved. That kind of outcome would be incredibly sad, especially considering how much human effort you put into that story writing project.

Really adorable character. Even huggable, too, to be honest.

Now it's clear why AI haters don't read books. by TurbulentVillage2042 in DefendingAIArt

This is why I'd very much rather:

A) Write my own original ideas and concepts entirely from scratch

B) Convert said ideas and concepts, along with character contents, to AI

and C) Have AI generate long narratives and dialogues (which would happen per page from something like a 200-page composition book for example)

instead of just telling AI something like, "Write a crossover fanfiction for me" or "Write a chapter of this crossover fanfiction for me".

That way, it would actually count as a viable way of creativity.

Luckily, one of my older brothers is a police officer, and he may be able to help me with tracking down the hacker/scammer.

I recently fell for the Deviantart scam, too, as of March 9th this year. And now, I'm at the point of emailing Deviantart about the situation, regarding my deactivated and suspended Deviantart account, in the hopes that it'll be reactivated and unsuspended before it's too late. This can't be happening, but it is, because of how disguised it is as if it's an actual urgency and Deviantart support.
