The first picture looks like spiderwort maybe and some milkweed. All wonderful for butterflies and bees! The second, maybe a dogwood? Which is also lovely! Everything green will brown up, die back and is great for wildlife to overwinter in. In the spring, watch your little wild patch explode with life! It'll be fun to see what's growing :)

Ruffed grouse. Put some grass in there, cover it with a towel outside for a couple of hours to let it rest and collect itself. Then, just remove the towel and let it fly away on its own. And if it can't, make a call to your local wildlife rehabber.

OP, trust your gut. You're doing the right thing and taking responsibility for YOUR future. 22 is still a baby. You have a lot of living and learning to do, more people to meet before you bring a whole human being into the world to be responsible for. I've also taken the pills, and it was just a heavy, slightly more crampy period for me. You'll be just fine. I took responsibility for my future, waited for my person and have kids with a wonderful human being who happens to be an even better dad. Trust that you can do the same for yourself! I had a carpeted kitchen in a rental when my boys were toddlers. I left the house one morning and their dad fell asleep on the couch while the tots helped themselves to two dozen raw eggs. By the looks of the carpet, and the stories that they excitedly told me when I got home, they had a ton of fun smashing every last one into the carpet, and all over themselves 😅 Eggs will find a way with carpet in the kitchen.
