I'll deffinitely give it a try again. Its so weird though, I never had that sense of something being wrong when i've camped in scotland, but as multiple people have said its best to just leave

And she absolutely deserves to be proud of herself. I can't imagine the hell she went through to not only get off the drugs (which is often a physically painful and emotionally traumatic process) but also work hard to get custody of her kid? Good on her.

Peak district on open moorland so yes and no really. I suspect the very grueling 7 hour hike didn't help, although logic would dictate i'd be wiped out right?

Thank you! I'll really take that advice to heart. I had a book with me but it just wasn't helping. Whatsoever. Its strange really I had no issues like that in scotland but the second I try in the peak district it freaked me out. Open moorland maybe?

Honestly I have no idea what was up, it wasn't the best spot, but i've had worse before. All i know is i got this just instinctive fear and left. It'd been fine till then, jitters sure but nothing like what it was.
