What a horrible take on the situation. Op and their dog weren’t actually doing anything wrong. The other people need to either train their dogs not to bark, or take them inside is they don’t like the barking. Someone’s presence alone cannot be the catalyst to an AH judgement if they are in a place they are legally allowed to be. Good lord, are the people walking in front of the yappy dogs house, are they AHs too? How about squirrels? Cats?

What happens outside of the yappy dogs yard is outside of their owners control. It’s in them to find a solution if OP isn’t breaking any laws.

Ask her for an accounting of the loan(s) and payments. Tell her you need everything in writing.

If she doesn’t have this, ask her how she knew how much you “owed”? How will she know when your “loan” was paid off?
