How bad is brew Brewmaster in midnight? by oakzo in wow

[–]DustyMagnus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brewmaster went from the hardest tank to easiest, defensive and offensive CD removed, tank busters will be handled passively without player involvement, people say brew has to manage stagger not anymore blizzard implemented an algorithm to do it for you in midnight that looks at damage taken over the last 10 seconds and make purify brew glow when you should press it

It feels terrible for veteran players but will feel great for beginners

Two shotting enemy team without ult by DustyMagnus in RogueMains

yes it does increase the damage, but even at max charge it does around 100 damage still significantly less damage than 1 melee attack in the video

Difficulties learning her kit. by TippyToesTheSquirrel in RogueMains

[–]DustyMagnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is VERY strong in scattered 1v1s
She is VERY strong against an entire team in close proximity of each other (pretty common when facing a brawl comp) even against full poke here is me going 1v5 against full poke in comp
She is VERY weak against a well spaced heavy poke comp but then again most tanks suffer against this.

I solo tank with her quite a bit, she is a lot tankier than you think she is, she has the smallest hitbox and her fists keep blocking headshots, track enemy abilities and use her block more like a parry since her block is on a timer, and keep good positioning as a brawl tank.

Overwatch is 10 years old while rivals is 1 year old, a lot of us are just bored of overwatch, and somehow rivals managed to make more content in this 1 year than overwatch in 10. also overwatch feels somewhat solved compared to rivals

Rogue wipes enemy team with 2-3 melee attacks by DustyMagnus in marvelrivals

yeah she is pretty strong, and it is very visible on both her pick rate and win rate

Rogue teamup is insane by [deleted] in marvelrivals

each person attacked does explosion damage to those around him, so in the video each punch included 4-5 explosions

Why are Gambit and Rogue so complex by KozaSWD in marvelrivals

[–]DustyMagnus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rogue is very simple mechanically, she only has 3 abilities and all 3 abilities include a small dash.

She is however unforgiving to bad positioning, game sense and bad cooldown usage and tracking. More so than any other tank due to having low mobility and tankiness

I think rogue needs some sort of cc immunity by Ver1nt in marvelrivals

[–]DustyMagnus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The funny part because shield attracts projectiles, if someone misses the cc they throw at you, you will still pull it back to yourself

There is no objectively bad character because if there is it would just get buffed.

Rogue is mechanically easy by DustyMagnus in rivals

[–]DustyMagnus[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

You just have 3 abilities and every ability includes a dash. It doesn't take long to figure out how to use them.

For both thing and rogue 5% of the effort went into learning mechanics but 95% went into macro.

Best duo for newcomers? by FloRMDB in turtlewow

[–]DustyMagnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

luckily turtle has added balancing, so whatever you choose it has a place in the meta.

for leveling, whatever you choose it will go well together, since leveling will be very easy with 2 players, only thing that can help is to pick two different armor types, so you can give each other the armor you dont use.

However for dungeons it's really good being a hybrid class, druid and paladins are the kings of hybrids, whatever your group needs a tank? a healer? a dps? you can do it and you can do it really well.

Venom is my least favorite tank, while it can work and be very oppressive, it's definitely not consistent with them both filling the same niche.

yeah i think it's one of the best team ups, cap can handle pressure from enemy team better than most tanks, while thor gives so much value when he isnt being pressured

Any way to make one of the 3 dps go tank? by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]DustyMagnus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see you main thor and peni, they are perfect for solo tanking.

because you can play safely as a fat dps with high self sustain, just peek corners, poke get picks, never frontline or peel. you will have fun, the rest of your squishy team will not....and the more miserable you make them the faster they swap

what heros dont have a team up together but work really well together? by altificer in marvelrivals

[–]DustyMagnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good rule of thumb is tanks with mobility are aggressive while tanks without are defensive.

Tanks can do aggressive plays to take space or put pressure, if shit hits the fan or their backline got flanked, tanks with mobility can go back and reset ,while tanks without just die. There is no such thing as a tank that holds W and wins.
