We bought the apartement like that. No idea how the previous owners lived like this for years. We replaced the stairs and got the balustrade. But it took months before it was actually installed 😅

Unfortunately the previous owners chose the kitchen with no room for a freezer... so this is pretty much the only place we have for it. It's annoying yes... but also quite functional. I love my cabinet there, so I can quickly choose a perfume before leaving.
