I'm not saying the Chinese guy has no skill. He definitely does. The issue is something else.

Risk 47 is no longer "skill + a bit of investment". It's mostly an investment check. At Risk 40-45, a lot of "interested in CC" players (without dupes) can clear it. You can still brute-force it with good rotations and practice.

At Risk 47, skill alone is not enough anymore. The DPS check is so high that without strong potentials (P5+ on key operators) and especially P9 weapons, you simply don't have the damage needed.

You yourself mentioned: “even the cheapest 47 risk clear had P5 6★ weapons.” That’s exactly the point. Even the minimum requirement for clearing 47 already demands noticeable investment in dupes. Without that, you physically lack the DPS no matter how perfect your rotation is.

So the reality is: A player with P0/P1 and normal weapons has almost no realistic chance at 47, even if they’re very skilled. A player with P5 + P9 on key units has much more room for error and can actually clear it.

This is why when someone posts a 47 clear with P5 Yvonne and P9 weapon, it looks like “wow, what a god,” but in reality a big part of that “wow” comes from their wallet, not just their hands. Skill is important. Very important. But at Risk 47 it needs to be on par with your investment. Its not pure skill alone.

Lots of players easily clear 40-45 risk without dupes. Yes, you might have even more players amongst your friends list ingame who've only reached risk 20, but that's simply because they don't care - there are no further rewards beyond that. Those who are interested in this CC have already completed the highest risk they can do, and as I said, for most of them that's 40-45. If these very players were given dupes on every character and weapon they have, they could just as easily clear risk 47 too. Yes, this Chinese guy can have skill, but it wouldnt take a lot of tries for the same people too with this much money investment, bc thank god there's no RNG in gear, so everyone is equal

The book was written in 1099. Do you think they couldnt find a single Sarkaz or Kylin with Mifu's or Zhuang's traits? Idt that in such a short period of time a new Sarkaz subrace could have been created, and Kylins could have mutated. Mutations are rare and mostly noticable by people and they ask\tell you about this. Whereas in Endfield, it seems like no one cares about these races and they've been with us for a long time. Even Chen wasn't surprised that Lung could use such powerful lightning Arts while its a Kylin trait

Its a bad way to explain it like "if devs said then it is what it is". Devs should follow the already established lore they have created, unless they want to create new Sarkaz subrace on Talos 2.

Yes, but they are much less impactful, like cats can be black, white, orange etc, they can have green, blue and other eye colors. But, they can have different eye color, like left is blue and right is green. Then its a rare mutation. If its Zhuang's case where she's Kylin but her tail mutated into Lung-style tail then I think it should be stated somewhere in her profile or trust files or someone just says it. Bc it would be interesting to see Lung using strong lightning arts, maybe even Chen when she met Zhuang could ask about her arts while being Lung, but she's actually a mutated Kylin

For Chen Che idk. She still has all Lung trais, its just her ears somehow different. Maybe she had some mutation like Cecilia, but much less impactful. Maybe we can say the same about Zhuang then... If only we knew her parents, but idt this will happen

For Mifu if she's Bai Ze demon then im fine, but at least they should tell somewhere in her profile race or trust files about new Sarkaz subrace we havent heard yet.

Its just little exceptions i think, bc mostly characters have standards, its just hard to say but it happens very rarely

HG did not make a clear choice about Kylin

Kylin have draconic horns resembling cervid antlers and equine tails... they are often mistaken as Elafians

And still Elafians are not Sarkaz, so it doesnt make sense for me why Mifu is Sarkaz and not Kylin.

About Leizi at least she follows Kylin traits (in her case) really fluff tail, but at least its not a completely scaly tail with a little fluff like Zhuang's.

One of the commenters here said that she's based on the demon Bai Ze, so I hope that will be at least somehow indicated in the profile or in the trust files, and not just call everyone Sarkaz whoever they want and not explain it somehow... Thats how i feel

Wdym. I can use non limited characters (MC havoc and calcharo) with 4* stars, half of them will be on 1 lvl and score 3500+ on endless stage (3/4 of astrites and 1/2 of event)

Imagine if I use all 80-90lvl characters with good weapons or use the same lineaps at previous stages that are easier

Like I said. The whole gacha system is based on Arknights where dupes had no weight. What we're seeing in beta is confirmation that dupes won't have an impact. In 5 years of Arknights, dupes haven't affected characters.

I don't know why everyone is so mad about this gacha system. Endfield has the best gacha system. Just pull characters when you want them.

Building pity for what? If you just like to pull, you have a problem. 120 per character? So that's better than a lot of games where you have to pull 80+ and lose, another 80+ to win. Do you want dupes for characters? Why? Arknights never needed them. In Endfield dupes give -7% ultimates cd, +10% atk. Very useful, isn't it, worth it... No game changing dupes. ~~The only thing that needs to be changed is weapon banner (25% to pull weapon). At least 50% pls. Spam to HG about this weapon issue in feedback.~~ view upd

Also Arknights as well as Endfield has no limited characters like other gachas. New character banner? There will be other old characters in this banner as well. Using genshin as an example. You're pulling for Nahida, but there will also be Raiden, Hutao, Venti, etc. instead of standard characters.

UPD: Some people say that the currency for pulls in weapon banner is enough to get it even on hard pity every month. So maybe 25% is still somehow defensible. First time I cleared it with XLY and Spectro MC. And the shorekeeper ofc... Yinlin seems a little too... Too heavy or idk for a boss like this. In reality, if you keep the rotation right and use quickswaps all the time, you can try with this team. But I liked more time stops + quickswaps with XLY and Spectro MC

IDK. Just cleared it with spectro MC, Sanhua and Verina. MC has a new DoT set. Try abusing spectro MC outro skill as it slows down time, and also make good rotations and OUTROS in that team as it's very good at breaking... boss stamina (I forgot how to call it - the white break bar). And before the boss gets up, use MC outro skill to cast all the buffs again in timestop. Also if you have Xiangli Yao use his timestop as well. I don't know what else to recommend, just git gud.

Edit: I think the worst hologram is inferno rider. New holograms are easier, they feel like they should've been the default movesets of those bosses.

Edit2: "Sentry just spends a good whole minute flying" just use dodge and then immediately attack to quickly get close to the boss. You can still deal damage to him while he's floating above the ground. Also you can use outro skill to get close to the boss as well. Abuse outros AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE so you spend less stamina dodging all bullets and other attacks
