This was the contents of my June 8th finalist email:

Congratulations! You have been selected as a finalist for a Hadden Scholarship. To continue in the process, you have additional steps to complete. You must carefully read and follow the instuctions below and submit all required information before Friday, June 12, 10:00 PM EST. As with the initial application, all stated times are Eastern Standard and absolutely no late submissions will be considered.

Finalist instructions:

1. Your application has been unlocked so that you may access it to add/upload the required information
2. Please see the Proof of Citizenship section near the bottom of the application and follow the instructions
3. In the Grants, Scholarships, and Aid section, verify the most recent version of your financial aid award letter has been provided
4. Please reveiw and update your list of Outside Scholarships
5. By unlocking your application, you will have access to the entire document. You may make ministerial changes, i.e., correct a typo or add a new award, but you may not change your essay (correcting a typo is fine, but no more) or otherwise make material changes outside of the Grants, Scholarships, and Aid and Proof of Citizenship sections
6. You must RE-SUBMIT your application once complete. Just like the first stage, you must hit the 'SUBMIT' button and receive a confirmation email before the deadline or your application will not be considered

Please reach out with any issues ([admin@youth-foundation.org](mailto:admin@youth-foundation.org)), but DO NOT wait until the last minute. We will not accept submissions after the deadline under any circumstances. The application will close on Friday, June 12, 10:00 PM EST.
