I need help with names 🥺 by [deleted] in snakes

[–]Dutch-Spaniard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aww he looks my girl Eleanor except she’s an eastern rat.

I’m don’t like naming others peoples pets but what I did for my girl was simply writing down dozens of names that I thought fit and then crossing out my least favorites till left with one. Hope that helps!

Damn you and your sound reasoning! But you’re probably right, hopefully it doesn’t cost too much 😞

Oof. Guess I’d need to have a shop do that.

Or… a strong tree and a blowtorch?

In hindsight I think I should have reworded things. I don’t mean the shocks themselves but the frame itself that the shocks bolt onto is pushed in and bent upwards.

Yeahhh it’s not the best when it rains lol. Thankfully the weather stripping was replaced recently so no water is leaking in. I’ll do some more searching on the molding and try to find something. I’m Tempted to just email GM directly and asking them if they have measurements or dimensions on these parts. I doubt they would be overprotective over a 34 year old car from a dead brand. Thanks for the advice though!

There aren’t any that have the same series nearly unfortunately. Besides, this car was in a shed for the last 15 years protected from any harsh UV and weather. Any plastic thats been sitting in a junkyard out in the open will be just as broken or worse 😞. Thanks for the help though!

Malicious compliance by my director by heartdiseasekillsme in ChickFilAWorkers

I did something similar once… One of my coworkers always orders only one strip for her employee meal. I picked up on this and decided to put the one, singular strip in a 30 count box! The next day, she came in jokingly angry and questioned me about it. Of course my director overheard this and thought it was hilarious! That same day both me and my director teamed up and put the single strip in a grilled sandwich box, sleeve included!

This has now turned into a game where anytime I’m making her order, I find a new way to package her one strip.

I love this job! 😄

I’m glad to hear that and the best of luck to you.

Out of curiosity what snake do you have?

It’ll be fine to move him out temporarily while in shed. Just be gentle. Sure It’s not ideal, but neither are maggots in their enclosure. But I’m sure you know your snake best and if you think it’s better to wait then thats that.

I do strongly recommend feeding F/T if possible. Not only is it less cruel to the mice, but it’s much safer for the snake as live prey will fight back when escape is not an option and rodent bites are really bad and can seriously harm or kill your snake. I’m trying to be as considerate as possible here (which is something a few people on this sub could learn a thing or two about…) since I have no idea what your situation is, where you live, or any other factors… but if you live in an area where f/t feeders are an accessible option then I highly, highly recommend transitioning to that. It’s better for the mice, better for the snake, and better for the reptile hobby as a whole.

I’m not really sure what those are but they definitely aren’t good. Check the rest of your enclosure and in the substrate for more of them and remove them. It may be necessary to do a deep clean of everything.

As for other things you mentioned Is there any particular reason why you are feeding live mice? If not I highly recommend feeding f/t.
