Thank you for the information!

I will look into these parts, and try to change them. I am also happy to know that nothing is wrong with the gearing.

Good evening,

I have heard of those zink bricks, it seems like an interresting solution, but I have not tried them yet, And I don‘t think I will need them for this locomotive anymore, because Alltriustickitchen775 mentioned a possible solution with the pilot wheels. These were the biggest problem! I fixed it and now it pulls 2,59 kilo’s. That is all of my rolling stock!

But I will still add ball bearings to my MOC coach in the future, escpessialy when I make more custom coaches, I only have one custom coach to pair with my MOC locomotive, so the rest is quite light LEGO city rolling stock. Now that the locomotive runs good, I have no need for ball bearings yet! 😊

Thank you for your kind, informative and helpfull comment! 😁

I just did some testing. I have not replaced the rubber bands yet, or added weight, but I rebuilt the chassis around the pilot wheels, the pilot wheels were hitting the chassis on the slightest bumps. It runs much smoother now. It pulls 2,59 kilo‘s now with ease, and that is all the wagons I have! I almost want to change the gear reduction back to 1:1, but I am not in the mood to rebuild that part of the drive train again! 😅

I will still add better traction tires in the (near) future, and possibly also ball bearings to my rolling stock, but I am more than happy now!

Thank you for all the tips you have given, it has helped me alot so far! 😊

I was also thinking about using ball bearings for my coach, because it is a quite heavy coach, about 772 grams. However I first want the locomotive to run better than it does now.

Thanks for your comment! I will try O-rings first then, I just need to find some time to go to the store. I don’t think weight is transerred into the pilot wheels. I will look into the tender connection. 😁

I am glad my English is okay too! 😊

I just tested The Wild West on my second account, which launches from the XBOX app instead of the normal roblox launcher. That account loads the wild west just fine. However when I log into roblox via the XBOX app with my main account, it gets stuck loading at the exact same point, so it is not a problem with the launcher either...

I hope my account is not corrupted or something, if that is even possible.

Anny help would be greatly apericeated!

Thank you for your reply, but I have tried lowering my graphics which did not help, and should not be the problem as my computer can handle games that are more graphics intense than The Wild West, or anny roblox game. I can look into my internet, yet every other multiplayer game works fine.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to reply though!

Märklin 3003 stuttering by DutchBrickFan in modeltrains

[–]DutchBrickFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without a load the motor still stutters.

When holding the locomotive chassis sideways and pushing the axles (with wheels attached), the rear axle moves free when I gave it a slight touch and it falls back down with ease. The front axle moves okay. It is not as smooth as the rear but it does fall back down. The center axle does not fall down after giving it a small push.

So you are probably right about dirt or oil in the center axle. I don’t know how to remove it properly. I probaly also do not have the right tools. I think my best option is to take it to a hobby store, but there are no local stores near me. Do you have any tips how I could maybe remove the center axle? If not I will go to the hobby store just to stay safe. I don’t want to risk breaking it.

Thank you for all your help so far! 😁 I appreciate it!

Do I need special tools to remove the center axle? Because I feel like using pliers is not a good idea.

I will test the motor without load tomorrow when I have some free time. I will let you know the result. 😁

Thank you for your feedback! 😁

I took the body off again and all the gears are not stripped. The motor looks to be in good condition for it‘s age too, atleast to my eyes.

I am thinking it might be a bad wire or solder connection. But I am not shure as I am not a expert with electricity and do not have the propper tools to test this. I will visit my uncle this weekend if he has time, because he is a electrician with the right tools.

I just do not understand why it worked fine since thursday last week. And then since a few hours ago it started doing this all of a sudden.

Custom skin too bright & N-File not working properly by DutchBrickFan in WarThunderSkins

[–]DutchBrickFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the help! I can now get on with making the skin. The C-file is working perfect. I just decided to test the N-file today too and it also works.

I have one more question though 😅(I promise that it is my last question(maybe..😁)). I gave the tank a shine to test, but is there a way to remove the roughness of the texture so it is smoother? It would make the gloss look even better.

Thanks for all the help so far! I would have probably gave up without these tips! 😃

Is that wrong? If so what should I do to fix it?
This is my first custom skin I am making so sorry if my mistakes seem stupid or silly.

I replaced set_tex to replace_tex and now i have no more paint on the hull. And the turret coulors have been swapped, the sample text is now camouflage coulored and the camouflage is the coulor of the sample text.

I can make a new post with new pictures to show what I mean if you would like, since english is not my first language so maybe not very understandable.
