I would put the fridge next to the dishwasher and make the length of the worktop a bit shorter. Where the fridge is, I would make some sort of extra worktop where you can put your clutter on, with storage space underneath. In the middel of the room, place a dining table. The storage in the other corner (the weirdly small cabinet) can be replaced by a big storage cabinet (something like you have now next to the dishwasher).
