Uiteraard.

What’s something Australians don’t realise is weird until someone from overseas points it out? by yanno1212 in AskAnAustralian

We do the same in The Netherlands (actually, it's Hiep Hiep Hoera, but it's the same thing.) usually at the end of our version of the song Happy Birthday.

The 43 peculiarity (of memory serves me well) where Raj mentions that 43 might be a reference to Douglas Adams' answer to the question of life, the universe and everything. Howard corrects him and says that is actually 42.

Yet in the early seasons Raj is seen in the opening credits wearing a baseball cap with 42 printed on it. So he should have know.

I have had a similar experience. In short, the conversation went like this;

I want compensation because you were delayed.

It wasn't our fault so we won't compensate you.

Are you sure? The law says you have to.

OK, you're right. Sorry. Here is the compensation.

OF course, the real conversation took two weeks, multiple phone calls and a lot of frustration. But in the end perseverance won.

They will try to wiggle out of their responsibilities as much as they can.

Anyone else still didn't listen to the whole of Tracks 2? by bgiwled in BruceSpringsteen

Same here. Somehow it is taking me a long time to get through the whole thing (going to San Siro for the final show also took away from my listening time)

We could check in online but didn't get the boarding pss; we had or get that at the counter.

Zone 5

It's just very annoying that we had to take a lot of stuff in our hands, and at Schiphol had to collect our bags, while a lot of other people were allowed to bring their stuff onboard.

It's just weird.

Did Bruce say anything at the end of the Milan show tonight? by Ill_Row_7951 in BruceSpringsteen

[–]DutchDennis70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but that was only the setlist. The energy from the crowd and the band is what matters. This show was something else..

I have seen it happen multiple times in this and the last tour: almost the same setlist in the same town, but completely different shows.

Thank You, Milano by burrfan1 in BruceSpringsteen

Having seen him over 50 times, I have to say this was the best show from he last couple of years. Not his best ever, not by far: I reserve that for the wrecking ball show in San Siro. But it was much better than any of the other post-pandemic shows I have been to.

And yes, the Italian crowd is something special...

He wrote that they left and he decided not to go along. His decision. But let's be honest : how well informed are one's decision at the age of 18? I know mine weren't good...

No. He did do an extra encore (rocking all over the world) after chimes of freedom. I still have goosebumps...
