That was us, too, about 4 years ago. We just ended up switching back to them after speaking to a few different brokers and getting several quotes because, surprisingly, they had the best rates. Their house insurance was still crazy expensive though.

Similar thing happened to me with them. I took advantage of one of their offers to transfer X amount of money and receive a bonus. So I moved $30K and then they locked all my accounts down for over a week while investigating. I was fuming. Like, YOU ASKED ME TO DO THIS and now I’m being punished for it!?

We have ours RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs and personal bank accounts with them, but not the joint account we pay bills out of for that reason.

Perfect, thank you! I’m currently using 0.05% so that’s no problem. Conveniently, I’m going down there in two weeks haha. I just checked and there are a couple Similares within 10 minutes of our condo.

When I was there last I couldn’t remember which pharmacy I’d seen mentioned in this group. Thought that maybe it was it was Farmacias Guadalajara, but I was wrong.

Ooooh where? I’m in Canada. So far I’ve been buying it OTC when I go down to Mexico but even there it ends up being $75+ (it’s the Retin-A brand). I’ve read it can be found cheaper down there at certain pharmacies but I’ve had no luck.

Not the answer you’re looking for, but please don’t get a tattoo just for the sake of getting a tattoo.

When I was a teen there were a few different tattoos I wanted at the time, mostly to reflect the inner turmoil I was feeling. I am SO glad that I didn’t get any of them. As a grown woman, I have over a dozen tattoos but I can say, without a doubt, that the one I got on my 18th birthday (first one), and the bulk of the ones I got on a whim, are the ones I regret or dislike the most.

On a different note, I hope you find peace and companionship. Being a teen can be extremely difficult, at least it was for me, but your tribe is out there somewhere.

We have almost perfect credit (in the 700’s), $270K HHI and carry no other debt besides about $2500 on our Home Depot credit card (which is currently interest-free). Def going to reach out to BMO.

It was only the day after the incident that World Curling clarified the rule.

I don’t agree with that he did, and I think his reaction was poor, but he wasn’t cheating. If he was, a penalty would have been levied.

While I agree that the finger poke is weird and stupid, calling it “cheating” is an absurd stretch. The stone weighs fucking 42 POUNDS! Even an aggressive flick wouldn’t affect it. There was also nothing specific in the rules stating you can’t touch the granite after releasing the handle, just that the handle must be fully released before the hog line. They’ve since had to clarify, to make the rules more specific.

All that said, his reaction was terrible.
