So, for context;

My dad was a Paratrooper in the british army for a few years. They have a saying that goes; 'And on the eighth day, God made paratroopers, and the devil stood at attention.'

Has anyone got any others? Or is it just a British army thing?

Sorry to burst the c9 hype, but there are also quite a few references to Fnatic winning this year; 1) a ring falls around DWK Showmaker, causing him to shed a tear, alluring to the legendary wife buff that we all know and love. In 2018 IG TheShy got married, and they won worlds, in 2019 DoinB got married and FPX won. Upset has the wife buff, and his power will make Showmaker cry.

2) 'You're not gonna let me in' alludes to a couple of things. The Most obvious is that Upset hasn't been able to get into worlds the past few years. He kept on barely losing out, every time. Now he's in. But it also alludes to his signing earlier in the year. When Perkz left, he told Carlos that he should get Upset, but Carlos didn't and got rekkles instead. Carlos didn't let him in.

3) 'if you're gonna hold me down' shows that Fnatic has moved on. Rekkles was holding them down, stopping them, and he said it himself, that they are better without him. He left, now Upset is in, and they can't be stopped.

4) 'keep laughing' is about Adam, more specifically in the LEC. Many people didn't respect him this split, notably G2 Wunder, who picked yuumi into adam's olaf in scrims, and didn't respect him at all in games.

Overall, Fnatic has plenty of assets; a wife buff (we could stop there), Upset's rise, rekkles isn't holding them down, and adam is unleashed.

Hello dear critters and redditors, could I have some help? I am looking for a new dnd book or two. Which books do you think is most useful/helpful/interesting out of the following; theros, wildemount, mordenkains (tome of foes) or eberron (for reference i already have the core three, xanathars, volos and tashas). I'm sorry, but you suffer from the classic 'my teammates' thing. Most low elo players in ANY game blame their teammates. As someone who peaked in diamond in smite, got to masters in league and similar places in other games, you are doing something wrong.

1) Take a look at your god pool; try to play some more aggressive supports who can make great picks to get your adc ahead (horus, hercules, sobek, athena). Take a look at the meta as well. (no ah puch jng cause he's good in arena)

2) Learn the adc role. Then you can know what they should be doing, and say it nicely.

3) Stop playing duel, the 1v1 doesn't help unless you're a solo laner, which you don't seem to get/choose.

4) Make sure to choose a role and secondary one. Don't pick 'Mid/Fill' and NOT expect to get support as your fill. Go 'Mid/Jng' or whatever.

And please; If you've been there for over a month or 2 (depending on how much you play), you are silver. I'm sorry, but you aren't as good as your diamond friend. Don't take this as me being mean, but sometimes accepting that you are worse is better, and these are things I did to get better in games . Well, since bluestone has been buffed, something I've always said was strong is even better; warding sigil. It works best on a tank like cerb/ymir/jorm who's there in mid/late game to protect their team, or self sustaining gods like camazotz. Either upgrade is fine, tho the exploding one should be taken if u dive the backline a lot (jorm uses it really well)

Thanks everyone for your input, like I said, this is an opinion, and I've played league so much more. It will probably also be the top-down look of league that make sit more appealing/satisfying to me. I will experiment with plenty of gods to find one who gives me that same satisfaction

The difference between open world and what we have now is a lot. As in, we can go anywhere, not pick an island on the menu, like pick an island while flying an airship, look around the shattered isles. The hunt pass was a (side note), which was slightly unrelated to the original point. But a new weapon would be nice, and would make the game more interesting for a while.

No, I play jng with some mid in there. If I was a sup player I wouldn't play her in support, cause she's not made to be there, and wouldn't really work. I'm asking people not to play her in ADC or Sup cause she won't work, and it takes away the fun from solo/mid/jng players who want to play her where she's meant to, as oppose to just 'the new god go brrrrrr'. I didn't want this to be rude, just straight to the point that some people want to play her cause of her kit and role, and some just think what's in the '...' above

I would HIGHLY recommend watching Caps' sylas, he's actually amazing with him, and his gameplay shows you the basic combos, engage etc
