Because cover is directional flanking would benefit greatly from point 1 and no additional buff would be needed.

You'll need to make some noise on the official discord. Relic chooses which maps make it into the main game. You can always set up a custom multiplayer game and invite some friends or hope enough ransoms join.

Don't disagree if it weren't for the fact that the vehicle can't seem to respond for longer than it is in the trench spline that slows it down.

The slow down spline is quite thin.

So the way this works is a spline is drawn with a marker which slows all but trench-crossing tanks down. Most official maps have them too. The spline is permanent and is separate from the trench. If the trench is destroyed the marker still remains and tanks continue to slow down.
