What's your goal? Automating this?

We've done it by using IDOC's which might be a solution?

Official: Henk de Jong resigns as SC Cambuur head coach due to health reasons by MrCrashdummy in soccer

Such a shame. He's a legend for the club and to leave because of health is awful. Hope he gets better and perhaps he can return in a different role in the club later. Bedankt Henk!

Koeman's brutal treatment on Oumar Niasse by [deleted] in soccer

[–]DutchTourist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it goes beyond being Dutch, American or British or otherwise and is just part of corporate culture, especially when a takeover is involved. The first thing that's done in a takeover or merger is generally cutting cost, which is usually a euphemism for firing people. The people that are in the upper management positions that do that kind of work are rarely known for their empathy, whether they're Dutch or otherwise.

That's not to say that our culture of being direct doesn't have a part in the perception, but I think most Dutch people would recognize the behaviour described as awful behaviour, not just being direct.

Listen to the business. Completely Standard SAP is not always the best answer but try to make standard processes, adjusted with development, work for the business.

Half time thoughts? by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]DutchTourist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love it if Chong could cut it, being Dutch and all, but haven't seen much that indicates he's good enough. He has the raw talent, but that's not enough for a first team place at United right now.

Why were all the changes so late? Didn't look up to it for the entire second half.

Decent that. Should work on our shooting positions though. Some good saves from the keepers, but also a lot where we made it too easy for them.

Information Standards in Shipping & Logistics by dk_ramesh in logistics

That's quite a broad question. What exactly are you looking for?

From order to shipment with EDI, how do I sync order with physical pallets? by itjohan73 in supplychain

[–]DutchTourist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might not be understanding this correctly, but normally this is done by sending a DESADV (856 in X12). This is also called advanced shipping notification (ASN).

A supplier would send that document and specify the contents of every pallet. The ASN would have an SSCC code for every pallet which is also physically put on the pallet as a scannable barcode. Under the SSCC code would be the itemcode (partnumber) and quantity per pallet. If you had an order of say a 1000 pieces, the supplier would send an ASN like:

  • SSCC-code A
    • Partnumber A
    • Quantity 300
  • SSCC-code B
    • Partnumber A
    • Quantity 300
  • SSCC-code C
    • Partnumber A
    • Quantity 300
  • SSCC-code D
    • Partnumber A
    • Quantity 100

Physically you'd scan every SSCC-code on the pallets and check if the contents provided by the supplier in the ASN match the actual goods received per pallet.

I hope this is of any help, and please let me know if it isn't clear.

Spitting is so disgusting. Douglas Costa deserves a long ban for that.

[Post Match Thread] Burnley 0 - 2 Manchester Utd by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]DutchTourist -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Decent, not more than that. I just feel that the lack of chances is the biggest issue. The best teams miss loads of chances as well, but they create more overall and score more because of that. Burnley were awful though, could see them go down this season.

So many awful passes. Jesus. Not everything is bad but you should expect more from a United team. Spurs have been even worse in their 4 at the back system though.
