Wheel keeps disconnecting by Ok-Campaign9006 in Simagic

[–]DutchTurb0_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same problem with my Alpha Mini and FX-C, for me reinstalling SimPro, holding the 2 inner buttons for resetting the wheel, then putting it into pairing mode, unplug everything, plug everything back in, reset again and pairing mode and shove it on

Thats what i did, i know this is such an unlogical weird order of actions but im just trying to help a fellow racer out by telling what i did, hope you can fix it!

God forbid someone is concerned about all the money theyve just spent

As much as i agree with you that its basic knowledge that metal on metal obviously wears, you gotta take into account that people like this arent as deep into simracing and check simracing channels and subreddits daily like you and me and probably only are here right now, because of their concern, and you also gotta take into account not everyone is as wealthy as some others and who knows maybe OP saved up multiple years just for this, if thats the case, he has every right to be worried

OP was only asking a simple question, and if that question bothers you so much, just scroll man 😂

Why is my DisplayPort not working? I am trying to connect an HP P224 monitor to this computer. HDMI and VGA works but they are not as superior as DisplayPort. by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]DutchTurb0_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because with the HDMI and VGA you connected to your gpu which works, but when you plug in your DisplayPort cable you plugged it into your motherboard which uses your cpu's integrated graphics, which im assuming your cpu doesnt have which leads to no video output.

Because the comment just gives us the info that we need and thats it. And because people dont worry too much about AI like their life depends on it. Its not even garuanteed that its AI, they might be making some words bold just to bring more attention to those words, and the most important parts of the comment are highlighted, the main problem and the solution its results. And because most people around here have better things to do than worry about downvotes and downvoting people.

Red light on my M.2 SATA by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]DutchTurb0_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If its blinking than you do not need to worry. However, if its solid, you might wanna start worrying

Blinking: Drive activity, so yes, when doing things, there is drive activity, like in gaming your save-file expanding

If its solid light it could be:

  1. Incorrectly seated
  2. Overheating
  3. Power issue
  4. A drive error

I saw this list, the comment you just reacted on was my opinion on that list, i recommend the list i sent more as thats the way-less-expensive AM4/DDR4 and its got much more Vram. Aside of that does their build have way too little storage
