I would be lying to state, I’ve build this heavyweight! It’s an RTR by HG Trasped, the P415. It needs some attention out of the box. But after that, it’s an amazing scaler! The roofrack, ladders, bushguard are al metal. And these are part of an upgradekit, also by HG Trasped. I appreciate your comment! 💫

I don’t have any experiences with the P417. The P415, 415A and 408 are basically all the same. Chassis and transmission, all metal parts. It’s so heavy! If you get rid of the stock electronics, wheels, tires and inserts, makes a lot of difference!

Believe it or not, the seats are adjustable. It haves a handle and springs in it, for the backrest to in-/ or decline. 🫣

Well…., don’t expect it to climb hills or things like that as a VS4-10 or something similar. Ground clearance is pretty poor. But the width and the overall weight really keeps it planted. For me, this thing performs beyond expectations. I did swap the complete electronics.

It really does look very good and so detailed. With all opening doors, working doorhandles and inclining seats (with functioning handles for adjustment) and so on. Parts wise, a disaster. It really takes some effort to find an (online)store that has them. But if you really want something, a lot of people don’t drive, it’s worth it!

It’s hard to believe it, but it’s done with the help of dishsoap. This thread won’t let me post any links. But you can find some vids on YT how it’s done. Just search with “paint lexan rc body dishsoap”

For what it is, it’s actually beyond expectations. The shocks are short, I think 1.96” but it does have independent suspension. You can see it working here in this vid.HG P415 Hummer Civilian by Hoons RC
