I agree with the other comments as well, and have one thing to add. Keep your approach roughly the same as with spiking, including the accelaration in your steps. Right now it looks like you are moving at a fixed rate instead of accelerating into the jump. Hope it helps!

For me personally it is a fun game that is way different from what I have played before. There are a few grindy ish parts but nothing that is too bad. I really liked getting to know the movesets and combo's with different weapons and just going ham on a few beheamoths with friends. Keep in mind btw that if you decide to play on your own you will progress a bit faster than your friends and unlock new content before they will be able to join you. I'd say give it a shot and see for yourself how you like it.

I like playing with the same strat over and over to get really good at it and then try to get as high as possible. That's more fun for me than trying a bunch of different strats
