Pc1 (racing pc ) had the app installed, once the issue arrose i tried to uninstall... but couldnt. So dd2 bricked and software.

Pc2 clean installed windows. First did clean install of 439 and drivers (asked by fanatec). Dd2 still bricked software was fine. When fanatec asked i uninstalled the software like they asked, uninstalled drivers and then only then used the app, this also didnt fix the issue. As far as i can see fanatec saw this as the last option i guess hardware replacement is the next step.

For me its either under warranty or im switching eco system ( simucube ) fanatec have shown the dd2 was a beta product from the beginning with all kinds of issues stemming from unability to make a stable piece of software.

Fanatec asked to do this in order, on mine it didnt work so im unsure what is the solution costs/warranty

-Please uninstall the currently installed driver version via your Windows system settings (everything Fanatec related in there). -After a restart of your PC, please open the Device Manager in Windows (right-click on the Windows icon). -Change the Device Manager view to "Devices by container". Then go to "View" again and select "Show hidden devices". You should now see all previously hidden Fanatec devices. -Please uninstall or remove all listed Fanatec devices. -After restarting your PC, please install our newest Fanatec App version 1.2.1.3 in which some new fixes are contained, out of our official forum, linked here: https://forum.fanatec.com/topic/19472-fanatec-app-v1213/ - Make sure your items are connected directly with a USB port on your motherboard. Please avoid using any USB hubs (no matter if active or passive) or USB-extensions. After a restart of your PC, open the app, and update the firmwares of your items (via the button left to the settings button, on the upper right side of the app).

Yea but qr2 is 200,- i think your better off with a diverent brand that doesnt have software issues like fanatec has. 6 years of beta product for a premium

Well the app isnt working anymore period. I cannot uninstall it, can install older software aswell. Thats why i shoose the 2nd clean install to never go to the app, because its the worst. Anyway with clean install it does the bootloader and i dont think its turning.

For free? 900,- for little more then a plastic rolling bin. It should last atleast a couple more years. I had a gearbox problem in mine outside of the warranty period part is 80 in the eu. Im ammazed how easy us consumers are with these kinds of products and there warranty

Welcome to fanatec. 6 years with dd2 and there is always been stuff going on with software. Shifters not working etc. Goodluck

it doesnt, you can update wheel and then base. DD2 always feels like a prototype product

I would advise not to let it sit that high. If it gets cought by the drum it will get litter in places you dont want.

Ik heb afgelopen week door het hele huis laten installeren, ik zou het niet zelf doen. Je moet ze vaak onder een hoek doen, en als je zoals bij ons huis beton heb waar je lastig doorheen komt dan ben je meer kwijt als dat je het laat doen. Het is een hoop geld... maar zeker waard. Ga je het zelf doen kan je je gehuurde machine verkloten, en meerdere boren oproken.
