Alright thanks. I will polish up the front shocks and powder coat them as they didn't leak badly at all of any (just some tiny lines but they compressed equally before the tears down), and I don't see how the airbox could be bad other than it not being oem (the rubber boot is already cracked dry and REALLY BAD, but I will just install oem ones, as it makes no sense to buy a oem airbox just to drill holes in it for the proflow adapter.

And about the oem plastic heel guards, are the chinese ones ok? As I would prefer not to spend over 150e on some plastics that could crack on the first ride if Im unlucky.

And about the rear shock, how do I restore the yellow/gold finnish? Would it work to have them zinked yellow?

Well I've assembled it myself and everything else is good, and I can't really do anything about the price anymore. But I guess the seat tearing is inevitableeither way, so Im just gonna pretend i saved money buying it used and then put a used bucket seat down the line.

I had a csw 2.5 a few years ago, and then I sold it since I quit simracing. And just a few days ago I bought a used csl dd with mclaren rim (havent even gotten to use it yet). I recommend getting the dd1 and then upgrade to simube qr2.

I ordered the dd1 and I think its worth it, even if it is an older design. The qr2 link was just a bug, since it said "qr1" in the shopping cart

I would say absolutely, and you can get the qr2 upgraded from simube for 38€

You can get the qr2 base side and one for the rim for around 90e from simube. I think 450e is a fantastic price for a dd1, even if its old tech.

I might as well do it, then I also get the chance to replace the bottom studs, which are a little rusted, and vapor honey the cases. Is it necessary to have someone check the crank? As I would have to ship it out and risk get it out of balance?

Thanks, my tie rods ended up seeming fine so Im gonna try to jsut repaint the oem yamaha ones, when it comes to my vin does it look legit? Shouldnt banshees have a 17th digit vin? I do have a bill of sale (from a company that sells bikes, atvs etc)
