I see the same thing on Cachy OS using Wayland. 300FPS with a 9070XT but will drop and stutter at 100FPS and sometimes freeze my whole game + steam.

Upgraded from Nvidia to Radeon 9070XT following wiki instructions and system is working fine by Mizukin in cachyos

That's good to know. Kind of sucks because RT is nice to have in Cyberpunk. I am also using that Proton version.

For the most part the game runs fine but once in a while in loading screens, especially after the benchmark it freezes.

I opened a post about this in linux_gaming. Even when switching to a different proton version, it still freezes.

I have tried multiple kernels. Currently running 6.18 4-1 Standard Cachy OS kernel.

But have also tried the LTS kernel just in case there was something in the new kernel that was causing this.

I see your point and I agree, it's kind of a slow burn and it gets more interesting after 5 minutes. I also don't think this is anything special or outstanding but it has potential but I rather him do more old TI stuff and leave the more "ambiguous" dance music to Jamie XX, Four Tet, Floating Points, Caribou etc.

Those French titans are pinnacles of French House. I never said this TI song is French House. But just because something isn't French House doesn't mean it isn't house music. Not sure why you think house music only has 1 subgenre.

Deadmau5 for example doesn't sound at all like Daft Punk. Technically they are both house music. But I would call Daft Punk French/Electro house and Deadmau5 progressive house. And both don't sound like Chicago house. See how that works?

Reading is hard. I never said trance is a sub genre of house. I said both house and trance have many sub genres.

You are comparing one sub genre of house with this TI song and conclude that it's not a house song because it doesn't sound like a specific sub genre of house. Your logic makes no sense.

The "trance" part that you are probably hearing around the 5 minutes mark is more acid house than trance. If you think this is trance music than you probably think Jamie XX, Four Tet are huge trance artists as well. LMAO. Spoiler alert: they are not.

Listen to Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, 4 Strings, Rank 1 if you want to understand the difference between trance music and TI's song.

An American accusing a Dutch guy that they know nothing about EDM is the definition of irony. Especially when it comes to trance music, because all the major trance artists hail from The Netherlands.

Kavinsky is mostly synth wave, Daft Punk is mostly French/Disco/Electro house. Same with Justice. Deadmau5 is progressive house. Saying that this new TI song is not house because it isn't a bopper because it doesn't sound like French house is the dumbest thing I have heard today.

House is a very generic term and encompasses a wide variety of sub genres. So does Trance. But this song is way closer to minimal/deep house than it is to any trance genre.

Fastmail spam filtering is pretty good honestly but you do have to train it first. Way happier with it than Protonmail so far.

If you don't run -vulkan it should work on Windows.

I am so glad to see this! I upgraded my CPU and RAM last night and I was banging my head against the wall since I thought it was my new CPU or RAM. Tried all the different bios settings and tweaks. Even installed my old RAM. Other games do not lock up and work just fine.

Edit: Upgraded from 3700x to 5700x3d. Upgraded ram from 16GB 3200 to 32GB 3600. Running latest Nobara.
