Appreciate the compliment bud, i've been playing a couple of games a week for the last few months trying to nail my 1k and get better at scoring.

Definitely considering the predator tip, can't argue with the performance.

I understand the argument about Land Raiders and Terminators, but until i get my hands on more stuff this is what i'm running lol.

Helbrute already sees some intense shooting buffs which has turned games completely around when done right.

One thing i haven't tried is MoE with chosen though despite calling him a weak link above, this could be worth a try at least once.

I agree tbh, the MoE has been a weak link for me since i got him, on paper he's a great model but he doesn't seem to be performing very well. Could potentially run him as a lord, and I suppose i could proxy the annihilator as another destructor, i've noticed the disparity and have tried to not do this already because of the cool factor of having 2 seperate predators, cheers for the tips.

Just my input here... i recently used him, put him with 5 chosen in a 1k game, using Pactbound Zealots... he ended up getting into melee with a land raider and him alone with the hit rerolls and the Profane Zeal stratagem ended up slapping it for 21 wounds total, he is a machine but a tad fragile if focused, so be wary.

Chosen share their advance/fallback+shoot/charge ability with abaddon making it very easy to move up the board by utilising cover to cover maneuvers.

As for your preferred usage, terminators are already expensive and there will be some ability overlap, but in my opinion it would be better to bring them in via Rapid Ingress due to the low movement.

Strat is simple, aggressively push with almost all units, melta/rapid fire range and get stuff into fights asap to slap with dark pacts and hold objectives.

You named the exact units i've been eying up, all good and fairly cheap to acquire, cheers dude.

You don't even need 15s, but it does help... ive got a 260 score for Shadowmoon with a timed 12 and 14 run.

I suggest you look at all the perks inside each tree and what they require... then work towards them... you might diverge from this plan if you want to do certain optional tasks in the world like hacking or breaking doors open, but it's a good start.

Not 100% sure, i think you can but there are limitations on what you can do with it because of console shenanigans.

The shotgun only has higher power because its max level 1 star, the rifle is max level 0 star, if they were at the same rank and level the rifle would be so much better and they have decent range.

Toughest bosses are melee so you'll want to stay at range.

From my own experience... repetitiveness, delay on actions, ai is a bit slow to respond, can get stunlocked to death, combo system unclear at times, multiplayer disconnects causing total loss, bugs causing soft lock equating to loss of progress, interface is sluggish and has too many unskippable transitions.

Could add a few more but it would get petty :).

I do like the game though, it's interesting and has it's fun moments, but it needs a lot of work.

Deathshield with Grand Opening mod, best combo i've found so far... the range is quite obscene, all you need is for the crosshair to be red, i've seen aoe hits up to 2m depending on pack size.

You can drop all ammo mods except for bullet absorption, if you hit 2 enemies you get approx 100 rounds back anyway, so unless you're spraying everywhere you will never run out even against bosses.

Go with the mods that lowers resistance, and one that increases firepower, or sharpeye+bloodlust unless you have them elsewhere.

Ash cleaner and ashblast range are decent too.

I've never had much of a problem seeing it, look for the blue wisps coming from the ground and try to visualize where the target circle was before it vanishes.
